Title: Ethical Dilemmas of Employee Surveillance in the Workplace

Consider the kinds of employee surveillance methods discussed in the discussion case (https://www.expressvpn.com/blog/expressvpn-survey-surveillance-on-the-remote-workforce/) and the applications of surveillance in suppressing labor organizing from the article. Then, identify an ethical problem concerning moral rights and analyze it.
Task (please number the responses):
1) From the chosen case of employee surveillance, state where this took place, what kind of surveillance was being used, and what the purpose was (stated or intended). Be sure to provide a works cited source for any resources you use from outside.
2) Clearly state any ethical problems concerning employees’ moral rights arising from employee surveillance in this case—state which rights are at stake and note any conflicting rights that may be present. If you do not think there is an ethical problem in any of these cases, your task will be to identify a problem you anticipate others may see with one of them. TIP: Aim for a narrowly defined ethical problem that addresses an ethical issue rather than a legal or practical issue. This need not be a question.
3) How would you use principle or rights-based ethics, utilitarianism, or a combination of the two to address the ethical problem you identified? Briefly explain how you think this ethical problem should be resolved using these two theories. You do not need to address potential objections or provide detailed explanations of how businesses’ might practically address their own interests in this brief assignment. Focus on addressing the problem as you imagine an ethicist might based on our readings this week.
