“The Current Border Crisis: Exploring the Liberal and Conservative Perspectives on the U.S.-Mexico Border and the Urgent Need for Government Action”

I am writing a thesis research proposal on why the U.S. and Mexico border is a current crisis. Views from both a liberal and conservative view should be present. My entire point is that there is a crisis happening at the border and the U.S. government needs to end it. I need at least 20 citations from academic journals and legitimate news sources.
