The focus of this essay will be an exploration of three (3) existing interventions for adolescents or young adults coping with a life-threatening illness.
You will research and select three different interventions pertaining to the targeted group.
You will be required to utilize at least three (3) peer-refereed journal articles discussing interventions that apply to the specific group – one article for each intervention. These articles must be recent (within the last 15 years).

What should this essay contain?
1. A brief introduction discussing the developmental group and target group you have chosen.
2. A comprehensive review of each of the three (3) interventions chosen outlining and describing the critical elements and relevance to the specific group.
3. A brief account of your exploration into existing interventions for your target group—are there a variety of resources available? Do these interventions meet the needs of your targeted group? Did the research
broaden your understanding of loss and bereavement as it relates to children, adolescents, or young adults?
