Each student will select a professional nursing organization of interest. This paper is for you to analyze the organizational mission, vision/philosophy, theoretical framework, and political activism of the chosen organization. Further, the student shall identify and discuss the organization’s impact on current political issue(s) and nursing practice. If no theoretical framework is explicitly stated, the student should discuss an appropriate nursing theory for the organization. Most information regarding the organization can be extrapolated from the organizational web page. Chapters 49, 67, and 70 of the required textbook by Mason, D. J., Dickson, E., McLemore, M. R., & Perez, G. A.  (2021) provides much needed information and ideas and should be read prior to starting. This is a WAC assignment and must be 1000+ words not including the title page, abstract, or reference page. You should have a minimum of three references no older than 5 years.
