“Optimizing the Role and Relationship of Units within the UH System and UH Hilo Campus for the Benefit of the State and Local Communities”

For this paper you should examine the structure of the UH System and the UH at Hilo campus and outline what you think should be the role and relationship of the various units in each to each other, and how each unit fills a role for the State and the local community.  In doing so you should look at the organizational structure and identify what you feel are the strengths and weaknesses of how both the UH System and the UHH Campus are organized.  How do both then relate to the State government and how does this facilitate or hinder their functioning to benefit the State and local communities.
