Introduction
It is time to take the knowledge gained in this course and apply it to a real-world situation. You will incorporate the foundational concepts of culture, socialization, groups, and organizations as you research a group or organization of your choice. Create a presentation on the impact and influence of groups and organizations.
Remember to view the assignment rubric (see below) before completing the assignment.
Assignment Instructions
Review the module activities and resources.
Review APA format in Brainfuse and the APA Manual.
Select a group or organization to research for your presentation.
Conduct research on your group using magazine articles, books, videos, movies, documentaries, etc. Verify the information using two or more credible resources.
Create a presentation. Include the following information:
Define the group or organization
Type of group
Group/Organization size
The function of the group
Presence of in-groups and outgroups
How did the group influence or impact individual behavior?
What was the leadership style?
What were the roles in the group? How did the members interact?
What led to the group’s success?
Cite and reference all resources utilized in the assignment. There should be two or more references.
Review the presentation for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and APA style.
Submit to your instructor by the due date listed in the course schedule.
