Title: Examining Personality through the Life of Holden Caulfield in J.D. Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye

You will want to provide a brief
introduction of what the paper will address (a paragraph or two).  Afterwards, you will present the biographical
information that is relevant to you character you are evaluating.  Even the biographical information needs to be
cited.  This will be a springboard of the
5 journal sources that follow. If you would like to use additional sources, you
may.  Next you will analyze you character
from one of the eight models of personality. 
Please state how the character’s life was influenced by this
perspective.  Afterwards, you will
analyze your character from a second model of personality. Additional sources
can be, but are not limited to, the DSM-V, your textbook, etc.  The body of the paper should be 3-5 pages
long.  Remember to paraphrase and cite
within the text.  As noted in class, the
use of direct quotes is less preferable to paraphrasing.  Please refer to the checklist for optimal
performance.  After you complete this
portion of the paper, start your references on a new page.  In total, the full paper should be anywhere
between 5-7 pages (1 title page, 3-5 pages of content, and 1 reference page)
