The stories we have read present us with a grim dystopia that began with good intentions.
Very often these good intentions are accompanied by a technological leap or maybe just a widely held social/political belief or ideal.
I would like you to take a look at our modern socio-political ideals and our modern technology and imagine how any of them could go wrong.
Imagine for us the horribly shitty future of a world ruined by sweeping bandwagon ideals or invasive technologies.
Discuss how it was made possible (tech/ideas)
Discuss day-to-day problems in this future
Discuss some of larger issues with this future
Use modern research to support your hypothesis for the future
