The final write up will be a one-page document.
Start with the project background. What question are you trying to answer? Why is it important? Who cares about your question? What do we gain by answering this question? Include additional background by writing in essay form. Please write in a clear and engaging style, like you would with an essay in an English or Political Science class.
Write out a final draft of your statistical test. Please don’t just paste in your “rough draft” calculations. Treat this like an English paper, with a rough draft calculation (that you did in the previous assignment), and a final draft calculation, in which you streamline your calculation, eliminate mistakes, and have a clear logical flow. Write it like you’re showing off your awesome test!
Write a conclusion that clearly explains your test. Discuss the null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis in relation to the original question that you posed. Discuss the results of the test relative to these hypotheses, and rewrite your conclusion in the original context of the question you posed.
What did we learn from your test? What do we still not know? What additional tests could we perform to further address the question you posed?
Continue to write these conclusions and final thoughts in essay form in a clear, engaging style.
