The assignment is to write a 5 page paper in which you pick a topic from our class to explore (like defunding or abolishing the police, BLM vs Blue lives, BLM vs January 6th Capitol attack, anarchists and antifa vs Trump’s secret police, I.C.E. Detention Centers, the Black Panthers and BLM… etc). You may also combine topics. Please use at least 4-5 sources from our syllabus. If you want to use outside sources, run them by me first. Outside sources should be in addition to the 4-5 sources from class. Make sure the paper is a FULL 5 pages long, and that it also has a WORK CITED page (in any style) at the end. So that’s 6 pages in all.
