The number mass shootings and deaths caused by firearms have escalated in the US. Write an essay suggesting a solution to this crisis. Should civilians be allowed to own firearms or should firearms be used only by the military and law enforcement?
1. It is REQUIRED that you compose a skeletal OUTLINE based on Structure of an Essay as in Module 1. Your essay MUST have a HOOK, a debatable THESIS, 3 BODY paragraphs, a COUNTERARGUMENT, a REBUTTAL before the Conclusion that validates the thesis.
2. Write a debatable thesis statement by taking a stand on one side this issue. Place the thesis at the bottom of the first paragraph.
3. It is mandatory that you support the thesis with: Readings from Module 4: Gun Control. You may supplement data with your own research.
4. Embed suitable quotes from the Readings using the 5 Ws
