You will electronically (electronic library database) locate a recent article (dated within the last 5 years) from a professional/academic journal. When conducting your research, look for articles that are specific to school counseling and theories, not teaching or education in general. When researching your article, think about topics such as: application in the school setting, relevance to school counseling, connection with school age population, school change interventions, connection of theorist or theory with current school counseling issues, etc.
Paper must include both a summary of the article (purpose, methods, results, conclusion) and critique of article (strengths, weaknesses, application to school counseling, reflection of personal relevance.
A link to the article must accompany your final paper.
APA format is required.
Paper must include a total of 6-8 pages including:
Title page
Abstract page
3-5 pages of content (including appropriate headings, headers, and page numbers)
Reference page
