Let’s look at an example of a research paper written by a previous student. I  have attached the paper below. 
After reading the paper, please answer the following questions:
What was the student’s thesis statement? Copy and paste it here. 
Did the topic sentences clearly stem from the thesis statement? Can you briefly identify the focus of each paragraph in your own words?
Did the author utilize evidence well? Why or why not?
