Title: Exploring the Effects of Gentrification on Low-Income Communities in Los Angeles: A Literature Review Introduction: Gentrification, the process of urban renewal and revitalization, has become a hotly debated topic in recent years.

This paper is largely a “literature review,” in which you will pose a research question and discuss how existing studies and publications have addressed this question. Your paper should be 8-10 pages long, double-spaced. You are required to have in-text citations and a bibliographic references page of at least ten (10) scholarly sources.
Research Paper format:
This paper should follow a general format of (1) Introduction to subject of research with stated thesis; (2) a background sketch of the history of the community and issue, and any particularly relevant local LA or California development; (3) a presentation of research findings and discussion; (4) and a summary conclusion with recommendations.
