1. Characterize (ideally a one-word adjective) Audre’s relationship with one other woman in the text. Use at least one example from the text to explain that characterization.
2. Consider an event represented in the first half of the memoir that is completely outside your personal experience. Reflect on that difference, your reaction to it, and what you can learn from that reaction. 
3.  BONUS: consider moments when the “voice” of the narrator (Lorde) feels particularly palpable. How would you characterize that voice (one word adjective) and why?
