Using Microsoft Word, please type a detailed, MLA-formatted outline for your planned Exemplification essay. Be sure to type this in Microsoft Word, and be sure that your outline consists of Roman numerals, capital letters, and numbers (at the very least) – lowercase letters and lowercase Roman numerals are a plus! The more details, the better.
Remember that Roman numerals represent paragraph topics/main ideas.
Capital letters represent the major supporting details for that topic/main idea (you should have at least 3-4).
Numbers (beneath capital letters) represent the minor supporting details for each of those capital letters (each capital letter should be accompanied by explanation, discussion, commentary etc. – these are your numbers).
Outlines should be composed of WORDS and PHRASES only (other than the thesis statement). If your outline is composed of complete sentences, you will NOT be allowed to use your outline during the writing of your essay.
