Please write a paper on your experience with compensation (as an employee, not HR). You don’t have to reveal personal salary information but I am interested in your general experiences. In the course of my career, I have been salaried, base plus commission, draw versus commission, base plus bonus incentives for sales, and salary plus annual bonuses based both on company performance and personal performance. As for benefits, it has varied throughout the course of my career. If you haven’t had professional work experience, please talk to someone who has. I am interested in what motivated you and if specific compensation strategies felt more effective to you.
