“Crafting a Compelling Narrative: Utilizing Writing Techniques in Personal Essays and Anecdotes”

Description:
In this activity, you will write a paragraph (or paragraphs) summarizing an anecdote or a brief personal essay. You may also opt to write an original short story. 
Objectives:
•    Utilize parallelism, a consistent point of view, specific words, active verbs, concise words, and be able to vary sentences.
Instructions:
Using APA formatting, write a paragraph summarize an anecdote or a brief personal essay.
Assignment Submission:
•    Use at least one source to support your argument (unless your paper is a personal anecdote or original short story); all papers must be cited and written in APA format.
•    Must be created and submitted in Microsoft Word.
•    Once you have completed the assignment, click the Submit Assignment option in the menu to the right and select a format for submitting your assignment.
•    Click the Submit Assignment button when you are ready.
•    Make sure your submission is between 300 and 1,500 words.
