Students choose a topic that is about current affairs related to their field of study (in a
broad sense); develop a strong thesis statement; read, summarize, and paraphrase
approximately 10 or more relevant and recent (academic) articles to back up the astatement; and write an argumentative essay of 1,700 to 2,500 words, Calibri, font
size 11, line spacing 1.15, references in APA, title page and reference list are not
included in the word count, inclusion of graph recommended). Plagiarism as well as the use of AI are not acceptable.
