Review Chapter 41 (The Child with Gastrointestinal Dysfunction) in your textbook and select a gastrointestinal (GI) disorder that is common in children. Based on your selection, describe the following in a one to two (1 – 2) page paper in APA format (See rubric below):
The disorder, what it does to the body, and its complications
Its presenting symptoms
How it is diagnosed and differentiated from other diseases with the same/similar symptoms
Nursing interventions
Expected outcomes that are appropriate when treating children with the disorder.
