“Making Higher Education Affordable and Accessible: Strategies for Lowering Costs and Increasing Funding for State-Funded and Tuition-Based Universities”

Given the rising costs of education, what would you propose to a board of directors in terms of lowering overall costs of education and making higher education more available to all strata of society? How would your proposal differ for a state- funded versus a tuition-based university? What strategies would you suggest to the board in terms of convincing legislators that they should be providing more, not less, revenue for higher education within the state?
