  • Title: Developing a Valid and Reliable Scale for Measuring a Construct: A Comprehensive Approach

For this task, complete the readings for this assignment, and then write a paper in which you complete the following:
Write an introduction that examines the construct, its conceptual definition/s, and related concepts.
Review the literature and the existing tools that measure the construct.
Provide justification for your original scale.
Discuss how you intend to construct the items, cognizant of the basic principles of item pool construction, the necessity of SMEs, the unidimensionality or multidimensionality of the construct, etc.
Write at least 20 sample items that represent the construct you are planning to measure. You may construct negatively-worded items, but indicate these in a chart or table. If the construct you choose has two or more dimensions under it, write sample items indicating which items fall under which dimension. (See for example, the Life Position Scale that contained four dimensions I’m OK etc. at first, but after factor analysis the dimensions reduced to two—I and You.)
Argue for a specific method of running an item analysis procedure.
Argue for at least two specific methods of establishing your scale’s validity (Choose at least one method for construct validity, and another method for criterion-related validity. In criterion validation, it is not enough to simply write that you are planning to employ the method. Be sure to specify the variable(s) you will correlate your scale with.
    Length: 10-15 pages

  • “Exploring the Relationship between Nurse Burnout and Self-Leadership: A Study on the Impact of Psychological Capital and Self-Care Practices”

Working in the healthcare sector has some rather high expectations. Burnout, however, results from this. Because of their enormous workloads and stress, nurses frequently find it difficult to provide patients with the high-quality treatment they deserve. We will examine the signs of nurse burnout in our study, including persistent exhaustion, worry, illness, and the feeling of being overworked and under pressure, which increases turnover and makes it harder for nurses to provide patients with the care they need. However, long work hours, lack of sleep, emotional stress from patients, exposure to job-related violence or threats, work overload, and time constraints are all factors that contribute to burnout in the health industry. However, every engaged nurse should possess the psychological capital of self-leadership. The idea was that if someone can’t lead himself, how can they ever lead others? The foundation of a nurse’s capacity to lead themselves is based on four practices: purposefulness, mindfulness, reflection, and practice. This study will look at the relationship between nurse burnout and self-leadership. We are interested in finding out whether self-led nurses experience good or negative differences from non-self-led nurses, as well as how this affects burnout.
Keywords: nurses, psychological capital, self-care, self-leadership, nurses’ burnout.

  • Title: Building Multigenerational Communities: Promoting Positive Emotions, Diversity, and Inclusion

Week 3 – Assignment: Interpret Positive Emotions, Culture, and Diversity
    Assignment
    Due May 19
Multigenerational communities are being built all around the United States. Even Jimmy Buffett has created one in Florida. With such a hectic life, many people yearn for a return to a simpler way of living, where there is very little mental stress and health and well-being are promoted through community gardens, art, cultural activities, and physical health. For an example, review the information on Serenbe, a multigenerational community near Atlanta, Georgia, located in this week’s resources.
After reviewing this week’s resources, conduct further research on other multigenerational communities that promote positive emotions, diversity, a sense of community, inclusion and thriving. How do they attract LGBTQ families or minorities? What kind of activities, resources, worship centers, etc. would be attractive? Be sure to conduct additional research for scholarly articles in the library as well. These articles could be related to these types of communities or how diversity is celebrated in any structure, organized community.
Develop an annotated bibliography with your research results. Incorporate at least 10 peer-reviewed studies from the last 5 years, unless they are historical or seminal. After each annotation, indicate how the study might inform the proposal for your Signature Assignment.
Following your annotated bibliography, include a paragraph that details the primary role of the community and why that type of community appeals to you for the final project. Remember, for the Signature Assignment, you will draft a proposal for developers who build vibrant communities for multigenerational groups. Think about the type of vision you have for this community after reviewing the Serenbe Community and conducting your research for this assignment.
Length: Annotated Bibliography plus paragraph for the Signature Assignment, but not including title and reference pages
References: Include a minimum of 10 scholarly resources
Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards where appropriate. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.

Write me a short story about a young orphan boy in the old city of Hyderabad, India who lives at the mosque. He would go to the quietest street in the loudest bazaar in the city of old Hyderabad to stand in the crowds and listen to Ali bhai, the old man who told his tales. Ali bhai was the best storyteller in all of Hyderabad and his stories captivated everyone. Ali bhai never told the same story twice but he swore that all of them were true. He once told the story of a bharatnatyam dancer who became known as the queen of gold by dancing for the maharaja. The dancer enchanted him so he would give her piles of gold. At night she would cover herself from head to toe in a burqa and secretly go into the trading and merchant center of the city to conduct her business. It was illegal for women to have their own businesses so she had to find someone she could use to create a business under. That was when she met Ali bhai’s great great grandfather who decided to help her but he didn’t know that the dancer would turn out to be evil. She poisoned the maharaja’s mistress so that only she remained. He was so bewitched by her that he married the dancer despite her not being of noble blood. She quickly gained infamy and  the maharaja would build enchanting and beautiful marvels of architecture and give lavish gifts to his new wife. One day she vanished, so the maharaja did everything he could to find her but couldn’t so he grew insane and took his own life. Ali bhai ends his story by saying that the dancer was actually a jinn and the day she disappeared she entrusted her gold business to alli bhai’s great great grandfather who inherited her gold businesses. and that when she was at the height of her prime she sold so much gold that it still circulates the markets to this day and those who buy her gold will be blessed with overwhelming wealth.
In reality Ali bhai is a lying spindler who wants people to buy his gold but the little boy is captivated by Ali bhai’s tales so he vows to grow up and be able to buy the gold. Boy gets fooled by the old man. The little boy grows up and becomes a successful businessman and comes back to old Hyderabad to see that the city is not as bustling as it used to be and confronts the old man of being a spindler, fraud, and just wants people to buy his gold. The Old man vanishes like the jinn in his story leaving behind a gold bangle. The little boy who is now grown up, takes the bangle and returns the old town to its former glory and he is labeled as the king of gold.
