  • Title: “Exploring the Absurd: A Critical Analysis of Daniil Kharms’ The Blue Notebook through the Lens of Russian Literary Critics”

Below you will find my old paper attached. Here are the coments from my proffesor. revise the paper using the comments and extend the paper to 15 pages total.
There are some interesting considerations about the reception and potential for Russian literary critics’ work to be useful in analyzing The Blue Notebook, but there are likewise elements of the essay which could be improved to make it more effective.
The essay doesn’t offer a thesis, and it isn’t clear what research question is being explored by this paper. The goal of the research paper is to pursue a research question and to offer an answer to that question in the form of a thesis. This paper seems more like a report on The Blue Notebook that touches on many of its elements, rather than singling out one and contributing original research to our understanding of the source text. I would encourage you to think about an open question related to The Blue Notebook that interests you, and forming a thesis around answering that question.
The language used throughout the essay is very vague and abstract. You often make claims, such as “the text is filled with bizarre and fantastical events, absurd characters, and unexpected twists,” without citing examples from the text to substantiate the claim. Occasionally doing this is fine, but just about every example of your discussion of the text never actually touches on the letter of the text at all.
The inclusion of Shklovsky and Bakhtin is puzzling. This paragraph doesn’t seem to have much bearing on the rest of the text. Why do you consider this to be important, if these ideas never reoccur in the essay, what is it contributing to your analysis of Kharms’ collection?
The essay is lacking some very important MLA elements. It is absolutely essential for research papers to have a title, and the Works Cited page isn’t properly formatted.

  • Title: Eliminating AI-Generated Content: Ensuring Academic Integrity in Final Paper

This paper constitutes a significant portion of my final grade and serves as a pivotal writing assignment. The original document, which is attached herewith, requires substantial rephrasing and editing to eradicate any traces of AI or chat GPT. While the initial draft was praised as exemplary by my professor and deemed the best in the entire class, the presence of AI-generated content, as pointed out by the professor, constitutes plagiarism. Hence, it is imperative to meticulously revise the document to ensure its compliance with academic integrity standards.
My professor utilized the following resources to detect AI-generated text:
    https://zerogpt.net/zerogpt-results
    https://www.zerogpt.com/
I acknowledge the magnitude of the task at hand and seek assistance in purging the document of any AI-generated content. Your expertise in highlighting such content and providing proper citations would be greatly appreciated.
In the words of my professor: “As it pertains to the assignment, there seems to be AI-generated text present in some sections of your work, either through paraphrasing or restructuring. Regardless, these elements must be removed before resubmission.”
    Thank you.

  • “Exploring the Importance of Integrity: A Classification Essay” Title: The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health: A Critical Analysis Structure: I. Introduction A. Explanation of the topic B. Importance of the topic C. Thesis statement II. The Role of Social

Here is the Course Theme that you are required to use for your upcoming Classification Essays (Weeks 1-4)
So, you could write about 3 types of integrity (ex: personal, professional, academic, political, commercial, etc.), 3 ways healthcare professionals can maintain integrity (ex: confidentiality, respecting patients, taking responsibility, learning from mistakes, etc.), 3 ways to establish integrity as a student (ex: timely submissions and communications, credible cited research, appropriate use of assistive tech/AI, etc.) or 3 reasons why integrity is important (ex: creates trust, establishes credibility, encourages collaboration, forms role models, etc.).
These are just ideas. Remember: No research is allowed in this essay. You must be able to write the essay from what you already know.
    ENGL118: The Classification
    Essay, Weeks 2-4
In ENGL118, you will write two full 5-paragraph essays, the Classification
Essay during the first 4 weeks of class, using
tools that help you find your topics and ideas, create a full essay plan, and
    draft and revise an essay.
**Important: No research at all is allowed for any of the essays, or stages of them, in
this class. Do not look at the internet or anywhere else; you are the writer
& you will generate every single idea, detail, and example in your mind.
**At the very end of this document, you will find a brief reminder
of a classification essay’s structure and purpose. Please review it as often as
    needed for success.
The Classification Essay Steps by Week
Starting in Week 2, you will begin preparing
to write your 5-paragraph Classification Essay.
    ·
In Week 2, you will study the
Classification pattern of writing, how to use prewriting, and how to write
without research. You will apply all of this knowledge toward completing a
prewriting/planning worksheet for your Classification Essay and participating
in a writing workshop, receiving and giving peer reviews over that worksheet.  you will study how to write the
full draft of your Classification Essay, how a 5-paragraph essay is structured,
how to create flow for your reader with transitions and other tools, and how to
write strong introductions and conclusions and format a simple essay in APA.
Remember: A 5-paragraph Classification essay will take one
topic and break it into three ideas, in a branching structure.
Classification essays are not intended for sharing personal stories, arguing,
or doing anything except naming a topic and explaining three categories of the
    topic.
The topic and three categories (three body
paragraphs, eventually) could be a topic + 3 types of the topic, topic + 3
“ways in which,” or the topic + 3 “reasons why.” Your thesis statement for a
classification essay will simply be your topic and 3 main points in sentence
    form. Examples of each:
    ·
topic + 3 types of the topic = Coffee mugs- three types- novelty, big and
    heavy, small with little volume
    ·
Thesis = There are three main types of coffee mugs; these
include novelty mugs, big and heavy mugs, and small mugs that do not hold
    much.
    ·
topic + 3 “ways in which” = Buying groceries- three ways- running to a
convenience or Dollar Store, going to a dedicated grocery store, going to a
superstore that sells everything including groceries
    ·
Thesis = There are three ways in which one might go about
purchasing groceries; for example, a quick trip to a convenience or
“dollar”-type store, an actual grocery store that specializes in just
groceries, or a superstore that sells everything, groceries included.
    ·
topic + 3 “reasons why” = Why more people are staying home- three
reasons- need family time, enjoy “house hobbies,” safer at home
    ·
Thesis = People are staying home more for several reasons,
including the need for more family time, the pleasure of working around the
house on projects or hobbies, and the relative safety we feel when we are at
    home.
So, for your Classification Essay, you will (in Weeks 2, 3, and 4)
create a structure and thesis like this and will plan, draft, and revise your
essay, paying attention to the required theme announcement for this session.
