“Leading Change in Literacy Instruction: A Critical Examination of Educational Leadership in Enhancing Student Success”
Description below, also see assignment structure and guideline attached.
Leading Change in Literacy Instruction for Enhancing
Student Success
This research paper aims to explore the
dynamics of leading change in literacy instruction in my school with the goal
of enhancing student success. I am starting a role as team lead in grade 4 next
year and part of improving our students literacy instruction is improving the literacy
program that is quite non-existent at this point. It delves into current
practices and innovative strategies employed in literacy education, while also
addressing the challenges and limitations faced in my school such as resource
limitations and the absence of comprehensive literacy curriculum, which hinder
the implementation of effective instructional practices. By examining the
impact of enhanced literacy instruction on various aspects of student success,
such as academic achievement and socio-emotional development, the paper seeks
to clarify the role of educational leadership in driving transformative change.
Additionally, it explores the importance of equitable access to literacy
education and offers practical recommendations for educational leaders to
foster positive change in literacy instruction, thereby paving the way for
improved student outcomes.
1.
Introduction (500 words)
What
needs change – literacy instruction to improve student performance
Background
of area that needs said change – lack of cohesive curriculum, lack and limitation
of resources because of ministry restrictions in Kuwait
Lack
of clear guidelines – common core standards should be followed, and our
teaching should also be pyp based in an IB school this blend creates a lot of
grey area.
Discuss
factors that influence this change (internal and external)
Critically
evaluate my role as a change agent – Grade 4 team lead
Conclude
with aim statement (be clear about the target audience)
2.
Literature
review (3000 words)
Learning outcomes:
LO1: Critically reflect on leadership models to
implement change.
LO2: Critically examine the roles of leadership
and management linked to effectively leading change within an education
setting.
LO4: Critically reflect on research and evidence-based
practice associated with leading change.
3. Conclusion (1000 words)
LO3: Synthesize theory and research associated
with achieving successful change within an educational setting. -
Title: Understanding the Sources of Law in the United States
Create a short presentation that discusses the sources of law within the United States. Your presentation should include:
A title slide, with the name of the assignment, your name, the course coded name, and your instructor’s name
Five slides on the five sources of law (See Brickley)
On each of these slides list and briefly define (one paragraph or up to three bullet points) each area of law and provide at least one example of this source of law
A reference slide that lists the sources you relied on to create this presentation -
Integrative Reflection and ePortfolio Development List of Courses for Minors: Minor 1: Psychology 1. Introduction to Psychology (Fall 2017) 2. Developmental Psychology (Spring 2018) 3. Abnormal Psychology (Fall
Gather any existing materials from each course you took to satisfy the requirements for all of your minors. Include any papers you wrote, notes you took, or, anything that you produced. If you don’t have the actual products but can recall things you produced, list them on the basis of your memory. Consulting the course syllabus should help substantially in this process. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have information that most likely will support your development of the substantial integrative reflection that is the main work of this course. You also will want to include some of these materials in the electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) that you will develop at the end of the course to showcase your achievements and abilities. Where possible, attach these materials in the portal for this assignment. 2. In MSWord format, create a file that addresses the following stipulations (a,b,c, and d): (a) develop a list of the courses that comprise each of your three minors (you can do this by examining either your official transcript or your degree audit); (b) for each course, indicate the semester you took it or, if you haven’t completed it, when you plan to take it; (c) for each course, develop a summary statement of what you learned in the course (you might go into some specific learning that really interested you, but by all means comment on the general categories of learning in the course; (d) attach your completed file in the assignment portal so that it may be evaluated.

“Designing and Developing Algorithmic Solutions Using Data Structures: A Project-Based Approach”
Description and Instructions
1. Objectives
The main objective of this project is to get familiar with designing and developing an algorithmic problem solution using data structures concepts.
2. Introduction
On this project each group of students will solve a problem to assess their understanding of data structure. Students will work in groups of 2-3 students then collect their work in one report to be submitted with the other project materials.
3. Required work
Choose an algorithmic problem related to the concepts of data structures (one that has been covered in class) and write a problem statement on it.
Examples of projects topics:
Problem Name
Suggested Data Structure
Train Schedule Manager
Student Course Scheduler
Social Network Connections
Shopping Cart
Flight Reservation System
Shortest Path Finder
Music Streaming Playlist
Doubly Link list
2D- Array
Graph
Singly Link list
2D-Array

Circular Link list
Select one of the projects Name in the table above. It is also possible to suggest new project (must be approved by course instructor). Understand the problem. Implement at least two solutions of the problem using data structures.
You must use at least one data structure in your solution. Analysis the Algorithm complexity of your solutions 4. What to submit?

Research Proposal: Exploring Techniques of Neutralization Among Narcotic Drug Dealers
Techniques of Neutralization is a theory that explains how people can commit crimes or deviant acts and yet accept no guilt or shame. Techniques of neutralization are cognitive schema that allow the criminal or deviant to explain their behavior in such a way that it is someone else’s fault or at least not fully their fault. Matza and Sykes identified five separate techniques of neutralization 1) Denial of responsibility; 2) Denial of injury; 3) Blaming the victim; 4) Condemn the condemners; 5) Appealing to a higher loyalty. This is the original list created by Sykes and Matza but there have been lots of variations on the theme with this idea that criminals or deviants can explain away their behavior. Excuses, justifications are two other commonly studied rationales.
The task for this assignment is to create either an interview or a focus group in which you explore how criminals explain their behavior. Specifically let’s avoid the more serious crimes like murder and rape. These are serious crimes that are often very difficult for students to deal with especially if such horrific events have touched their families’ lives. Let’s focus on something less threatening or triggering. Imagine or prepare a focus group or interviews on drug dealers. More specifically let’s imagine that we are looking at drug dealers who sell narcotic drugs. Remember, that narcotic drugs can and do result in people’s deaths. It’s not exactly like murder but drug dealers selling narcotics potentially endangering the addicts’ lives. How the drug dealer mixes the narcotics whether that’s with too much fentanyl, heroin, or filler can and does result in tragedy. In summary, you need to create a research proposal for either an interview or a focus group in which you will be interviewing drug dealers who sell narcotic drugs which can and do occasionally lead to the death of the user.
The proposal MUST explicitly include the following elements.
Introduction

why selected the topic
value/importance of topic
