  • “Growing in Faith: My Journey to Florida College”

The biographical essay is a 1-2 page, double-spaced explanation of the growth of your relationship with God and how you feel the environment at Florida College will be a good fit for you and your continued growth. Note that essays are evaluated by multiple AI detectors and AI assisted essays will not be accepted. A few points you may include or build around (My family and I would attend church service every Sunday as tradition to keep our family bond and faith profoundly strong. However, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I began to truly understand the depth and significance of my faith and began to become more deeply connected to Christ. My sister and I would attend Sunday school, whilst our parents and other adults of the church would stay in service, so the children of the church could learn more about the bible and God’s teachings. During my sophomore year of high school, my family faced a difficult period of financial instability. There would be many days where my parents would use their last amount of funds just to ensure that my sister and I could have food to eat. It was also a very difficult period for me personally, because one of my close friends I grew up with from kindergarten age had passed away due to cardiovascular problems, which was one of the hardest things for me to accept at such a young age. Iam now transferring from a mid-size Catholic university in Miami named Barry University, where I have attended for two and a half years which has taught many virtues to keep with me for a lifetime. Florida College stands out to me as the ideal place for this next chapter of my life because the college’s commitment to integrating faith and learning is precisely what I am looking for.)

Answer the following questions, drawing upon the assigned readings and     resources and using specific examples from those readings and resources  to illustrate and explain your thoughts. In answering these questions, please follow this format:
write out the question and then provide your response.
when you reference (name) a theory, cite your source using the APA in—text citation style.

    Assigned questions:
Using at least two (2) of the foundational ethical theories studied in Module 2 for each question, you should answer the following questions. With each   answer, you should discuss the issues and set forth and defend a clear         position on whether or not any constraint ought to be placed on the               freedom of a business to:
export capital (factories, jobs, resources) for production abroad               (remember, you will want to concentrate on the ethics of this proposed action, rather than the political or legal implications) on

  • Title: The Romantic Tendencies in Edgar Allan Poe’s Gothic Expressions Edgar Allan Poe is often associated with the Gothic genre, known for its dark and macabre themes. However, his works also embody the Romantic tendencies of the American

One way to describe the American Romantic movement, which was less of a movement and more of a group of tendencies in art during the first half of the 1800s, is to identify three focal points that distinguish Romantic art from Neoclassical art (from the Enlightenment era).
A focus on the individual (vs. a focus on society), including an individual’s experiences, thoughts, and emotions.
An emphasis on the value of spiritual and emotional experiences (vs. observation, logic, and reason) as a way to know or understand the world. A focus on nature as in relationship to individual humans. It can be a soothing relationship, as we see in Bryant’s “Thanatopsis,” but it doesn’t have to be.
With this in mind, think about how Poe’s uniquely Gothic expressions work as expressions of Romanticism. Choose one of Poe’s works that I have assigned for this lesson, and write about 300 words describing how the work fits with these Romantic tendencies. The connections you are able to make might surprise you. Please use at least two direct quotations from the work you choose to support your claims. Use page numbers from our book (the 9th or 10th edition) in your citations. Quotations do not count towards your 300 words.

  • Title: The Role of Communication in Addressing Sociocultural Issues in Sport: A Critical Analysis of Academic and Industry Perspectives

For this week’s paper, please choose an article that discusses communication in sport and a sociocultural issue. Remember to connect to course content, including videos and readings.
Students will choose on academic (scholarly journal article) that relates to the readings in the week the paper is assigned. The chosen article must tie to at least two major concepts from the readings. First, students will summarize the chosen article by using 4-6 bullet points. Then, students will write critical analysis of how the article relates and ties into the readings, concepts, theories, terms, and overall aspects of the course. (Students should be able to answer why this article is important? What are the implications and impact of the article?). Then, students should find 1-3 industry (online periodicals or sport news sites) that connect to their chosen article and course concepts from the week and discuss how academic and industry information on the topic is similar and different. Students should pick an article of interest to them (not just an easy one to find). All online students can log into the library to gain full access to articles. I recommend using Google Scholar or Sport Discus to find an article. A full reference list in APA must be provided at the end of the paper. Reviews should be 2-4 pages (including bullet points of the key points in the students’ own words). In-text APA citations should be provided throughout.
