Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a common concern in communities across the globe. Adolescents and young adults are at high risk of developing these infections. The consequences of developing STIs cannot only be acute but can also lead to chronic conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease, cervical infections, and infertility. Therefore, it is important to educate this population about ways to prevent and manage common STIs.
Scenario
You have been asked to create a blog post sharing your expertise on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) with adolescents and parents at a local community center. Your blog will appear on the community center’s website. It is expected that the blog be educational, but informal, addressing the three common STIs seen in the community, including gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. Your audience is sexually active adolescents.
Directions
Write an informal but educational blog post about the management of the three most common STIs, specifically gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis for adolescents. Include treatment recommendations and health promotion activities, including how to address social issues and parental concerns related to STIs. Provide specific evidence from at least two scholarly sources to support your recommendations. You may use your textbook as a source, but it will not count as one of your scholarly sources.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Characteristics: Describe the characteristics of the three common STIs: gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. Include the following in your response:
Causes of and risk factors for contraction
Common signs and symptoms
Diagnosis methods
Treatment Recommendations: Indicate the most common treatment recommended for the STIs, including any contraindications or risks readers should be aware of about the medication.
Health Promotion: Discuss health promotion activities to help prevent STIs with the adolescent population. Include the following in your response:
Prevention strategies
Ways to help mitigate transmission
Barriers to screening, including parental consent and social concerns
Other potential concerns, including risk for other STIs and HIV
What to Submit
Submit your blog post as a 1- to 2-page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Sources should be cited according to APA style.

Title: Multiple Regression Analysis on the Factors Affecting Wrinkle Resistance of Cotton Cloth
Complete all the writing parts of this assignment:
The data you will use for this week’s homework is hypothetical research data on wrinkle resistance cotton cloth. In this case, a research chemist wants to understand how several predictors are associated with the wrinkle resistance of cotton cloth. The chemist examines 32 pieces of cotton cellulose produced at different settings of curing time, curing temperature, formaldehyde concentration, and catalyst ratio. The durable press rating, which is used as a measure of wrinkle resistance, is recorded for each piece of cotton.
Instructions
Import the data in WrinkleResistance.xlsx file into SPSS
Create variable labels for each variable using the variable descriptions below
Variable
Description
Conc
The setting of formaldehyde concentration
Ratio
The catalyst ratio
Temp
The temperature that the sample was exposed to
Time
The amount of time that the sample was exposed to test conditions
Rating
The rating of wrinkle resistance
Save the file as WrinkleResistance.sav
Estimate a multiple regression model that could be used to predict the wrinkle resistance rating of cotton cloth given data on the four predictor variables. (This means write out a general model using symbols and variable names.)
Create a scatterplot matrix for all the variables.
Conduct a multiple regression analysis (starts with step 3 on page 159). Use the “Forward” method of selection.
Write out the equation for your final model (look about half-way down the first column on page 162).
Using R2 adjusted, calculate the effect size using Cohen’s equation on the bottom of page 156. (Does SPSS do this automatically now?)
Conduct a residual analysis (bottom of page 162).
The write-up needs to include:
An introduction: What is the objective of this study? What is your dependent variable? Independent variables? Who hired you?
Analysis section: What analysis did you do? What is your equation of the model? What is R2 and its interpretation? Cohen’s? Your scatterplot matrix, residual scatterplot, and table similar to 5.3 or 5.4 would be a part of this section. You also need to include the test statistics and p-values for all of the predictors included in final model.
Conclusion: This should be non-statistical. Anyone should be able to read this section and understand your conclusions. Also can include what you would recommend for future studies and any problems you encountered.
Deliverables:
One Word doc. Include all syntax at the end of the document. -

PROMPT:
Imagine that six months ago a family member was involved in an automobile accident and has been in a coma ever since. The physicians hold little hope for a recovery, stating that the patient is in “a persistent vegetative state.” They have suggested that the family authorize them to stop feeding through the stomach tube and “let nature run its course.” Confused, you turn to your closest friends—a Reform Jew, a Progressive Protestant, a Roman Catholic, a Sunni Muslim and an advocate of the “Death with Dignity” movement—for counsel as you struggle to make a decision. Which friend(s) do you find to be most helpful in reaching a decision? Why? -
Title: Applying the SAMR Model to Examine Emerging Technologies in Educational Leadership Introduction As teacher leaders of technology, it is important to recognize and understand emerging technologies in order to effectively lead and make decisions in our schools. One useful tool for
Knowing how to recognize emerging technologies is one of the roles of teacher leaders of technology. As you grow in your knowledge about educational technology, you may find yourself in a position of decision-making in your school wherein you have the opportunity to suggest or implement the various technologies; therefore, the SAMR model can be a useful tool for leadership.
In this first assignment, you will apply the SAMR model to examine technologies that you use in your organization or institution, rationalize their adoption, and to acknowledge other technologies that might have been replaced or affected by the tool. In your written response, identify two different technologies (either hardware or software) with which you have the experience, and preferably, use frequently in your organization.
Explain each tool through the four levels of the SAMR model.
What does it redefine?
What does it modify?
What does it augment?
What does it substitute or replace?
In addition, respond to the following:
Try to rationalize its adoption if you were not part of the decision-making to adopt this tool.
Why did school leaders choose to adopt and implement this tool?
Did political, societal, or financial factors influence its adoption?
Identify the intended and unintended effects of this tool adoption.
Determine what other tools/technologies this tool replaced or made obsolete.
Describe the potential impact of the technology on teaching and learning, and then explain why a school might or might not want to adopt this particular technology.
Please use APA-style headings to organize your paper according to your responses to the questions above.
