  • MLCDL_SFC_LNAME_WP BRIEF: Addressing the Lack of Diversity in Army Leadership

Use your White Paper Outline to design your slides.
    Naming Convention: MLCDL_SFC_LNAME_WP BRIEF
This assignment is a 2-3 min PowerPoint brief of your White Paper with voice-over added to each slide. You are using the presentation as if you are giving a military briefing to your commander about what your paper is about. You are presenting a problem, the reason the problem exists, and how you can fix it.
You should have a minimum of 4 slides. You start by introducing the topic of your white paper and your position (problem you chose to address). Then you introduce your evidence you used to support that position (reason the problem exists). Next, you present your solution to the problem (how the Army can fix it). Lastly you have a conclusion slide. The total audio should not exceed 2-3 minutes. You should use visual aids within the ppt presentation to enhance your information.
NOTE: Videos are authorized for use, but will not be included in the briefing time. Any slide that is full of words without pictures or graphs to help present information should be removed.

  • “Creating My Part: A Visual Representation”

I need to make a simple part of the project, which is the part that I put for her in a picture entitled “My Part,” and I have attached the previous instructions and parts that you need.

  • “The Erosion of Calvinist Orthodoxy: A Critical Review of Ian Hamilton’s Exploration of Confessional Subscription in 19th Century Scotland”

Review Ian Hamilton, The Erosion of Calvinist Orthodoxy, Mentor, 2010. The review should plot the major historical moves recorded in the book, determine what Hamilton’s intention in writing is, and decide whether the book’s argument is reasonable.
The book review brings into close contact with the issue of how a Confession (Westminster Confession of Faith) functions in the life of a Church. Tracing the contours of the loosening of subscriiption in Scotland in the 19th century, you will also engage deeply with the doctrines that were in dispute—the nature of the atonement in particular.
Follow the applicable requirements as indicated above for the topical paper (e.g. with regard to following ACT format, citing sources, word count, etc). However:
    • You are not required to write an abstract for this learning task.
    • You are not required to access resources other than the review book itself.
    • If you only use the review book, you do not need to include a bibliography.
*Do not use any AI program. I will check it with the AI Detection program and it must show more than 90% of the Human Writing Score.

  • “The Impact of Technology on Education: Examining the Benefits and Challenges”

Research Paper with minimum of 2500 words, 10 scholarly sources need, and all the instructions are in the pdf file attached.

  • Title: Applying “God Space” to Individual Believers and the Local Church Significant Takeaways from Each Chapter: Chapter 1: “We can’t control the outcome of our conversations, but we can control the atmosphere we create.”

As you read, identify significant takeaways that can be applied to individual believers and the local church. Look for areas in the text where disagreements may occur and opportunities for deep discussions and reflection.
After taking the surveys on pages 22 and 57, reflect on the accuracy of the results and identify which “killer” you are most prone to. Circle “faith experiences” you would like to try and, as the Holy Spirit brings them to mind, write the names of unbelievers you could talk to in the margins of your text.
    Pollock, God Space, chapters 1–11
Then, in a 3- to 5-page, double-spaced paper, respond to the following prompts:
List 1 significant takeaway from each of the 11 chapters. Be sure to include at least 1 quote from each chapter.
If you were leading a small group discussion about this book, what 3 questions would you ask?
How might your local church better develop a culture of evangelism from the principles in this book? Be specific in at least 3 paragraphs.
Answer each of the prompts thoroughly, being sure to appropriately cite any sources in MLA format. Submit your paper here for professor feedback by 11:59 pm ET Saturday.

  • Title: “Impact of Regular Physical Exercise vs. Social Interaction Activities on Symptoms of Low Mood in Elderly Patients in Long-Term Care Facilities: A PICOT Analysis”

    Picot:
    PICOT Question:
For elderly patients in long-term care facilities (P), does regular physical exercise (I) versus social interaction activities (C) result in reducing symptoms of low mood, characterized by feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or lack of interest in daily activities (O) over a six-month period (T)?
References provided below in files attached
    Rubric provided in files attached
Info on assignment is provided in files attached
    My Info:
For elderly patients in long-term care facilities (P), implementing regular physical exercise (I) versus social interaction activities (C) is anticipated to reduce symptoms of low mood, characterized by feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or lack of interest in daily activities (O) over a six-month period (T).
Potential Outcomes to Measure and Proposed Changes
Based on the intervention and research, the potential outcomes I propose to measure include:
Reduction in Symptoms of Low Mood: This will be evaluated by assessing levels of sadness, hopelessness, and lack of interest in daily activities (Galán-Arroyo et al., 2022).
Improvement in Physical Health: Indicators such as mobility, balance, and overall physical fitness will be measured.
Enhanced Social Engagement: This outcome will focus on the frequency and quality of social interactions among the elderly patients.
Overall Quality of Life: This broader measure will consider both physical and emotional well-being.
The change I want to make is to implement regular physical exercise programs tailored for elderly patients in long-term care facilities and compare the outcomes with those from regular social interaction activities. The goal is to determine which intervention more effectively reduces symptoms of low mood.
    Measurement of Outcomes
Standardized Mood Assessments: Using validated tools like the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) to measure changes in mood and emotional well-being (Miller et al., 2019).
Physical Health Evaluations: Conducting periodic assessments of physical health through tests of mobility, strength, and balance, such as the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test.
Social Engagement Metrics: Tracking participation in social activities and the quality of interactions using observational checklists and self-reported surveys.
Quality of Life Surveys: Utilizing comprehensive surveys such as the Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) to evaluate overall quality of life (Galán-Arroyo et al., 2022).
    Evaluation Time Frame
These outcomes would be evaluated at multiple points over the six-month period. Initial baseline measurements would be taken at the start of the intervention, followed by subsequent evaluations at two-month intervals (i.e., at two, four, and six months). This approach allows for the monitoring of changes and trends over time and helps in assessing the sustained impact of the interventions (Galán-Arroyo et al., 2022).
    Benefits to the Nursing Profession
If the intervention proves effective, several benefits to the nursing profession could be realized:
Enhanced Patient Care: Nurses can adopt evidence-based practices that improve the emotional and physical well-being of elderly patients (Miller et al., 2019).
Increased Job Satisfaction: Seeing tangible improvements in patient outcomes can enhance nurses’ job satisfaction and professional fulfillment.
Better Resource Allocation: Understanding which intervention is more effective can help in the efficient allocation of resources in long-term care facilities.
Professional Development: This research can contribute to the ongoing education and training of nurses, emphasizing the importance of holistic care approaches.
In conclusion, the integration of regular physical exercise or social interaction activities in long-term care facilities has the potential to significantly impact the mood and overall well-being of elderly patients. By carefully measuring and evaluating these outcomes, we can make informed decisions that benefit both patients and the nursing profession.

  • “Finding Meaning in Life: A Personal Reflection on a Life-Changing Event”

Directions for the essay:  Describe a specific scene, event, or ritual that imparts special meaning—something that may have taken place during childhood, perhaps—a life-changing situation or occurrence. You should have read the assigned essays (and also the student sample essays in both the Description and Narration chapters) for ideas on how these authors compose their works (they too, are writing about this same topic, in a way). Here’s an example: one might write an essay discussing how a child living in a comfortable setting may never understand the true meaning of success because perhaps he or she has never truly had to work for it. Another example might be discussing how a negative situation (death of a loved one, an illness, etc.) brings about positive results (or vice versa—a positive situation that brings negative results!).
Please feel free to run ideas by me.
You do not have to cite these (or any) required readings/ essays, but if you decide to do so, be sure to include the author’s name within that sentence (as in “According to Hughes…”) or use a parenthetical citation after the sentence you have paraphrased or quoted, like the one at the end of this sentence (Hughes 152). Just be sure to give credit where it is due when quoting a writer’s work.  See MLA format in your text or look up the basics on OWL at Purdue’s writing lab. Finally, consider the theme as you write:
The Human Condition: What does it mean to be human, and how does one fit into a particular culture, race, gender, or class? How are people related by their experiences and how do individuals search for and find meaning in their existence? Studying such a theme employs a humanities-based approach to thinking, engaging philosophical, psychological, and sociological ideas, among others. Many essays involve writers’ personal experiences and significant events which have helped them answer some of their own questions about life; such essays may aid readers in questioning, rethinking, and/or changing their own outlooks.
ALL ESSAYS MUST BE THREE TO FOUR PAGES IN LENGTH! SEE ESSAY THEMES/ TOPICS HANDOUT for particulars on how to format your essay and what NOT to include…

John Smith robbed a bank, using a gun, to pay for his medical bills. He later learned that the FBI was looking for him for questioning. John went to the airport and purchased a one-way ticket to go to Houston, Texas. After the flight took off, John was able to convince the flight crew that he had a bomb on board. • Title: Exploring the Impact of Social Media on Mental Health: A Literature Review

Write a literature review using three articles attached below. Do not use any other articles or sources. Please read the articles.
This literature review is different from an annotated bibliography, which is a listing of articles with descriptions. A critical review is not a string of summaries, it is a synthesized review. In other words, you do not simply write a short review of each research study, but tie the research studies together into a “story” or “conversation.”. Also, personal opinions are not included in a literature review.
At the end of the literature review, you will also need to write a two-paragraph summary of what you have learned about the topic from the three articles. This includes critique and reflection about the “story,” not the individual articles.
Avoid long quotes in your review, and paraphrase whenever possible.
Maximum quotes = 2 short quotes.
