You are answering the question, “Do you think Barry’s article (written in 1998) is still humorous to a 2024 audience? Why or why not?” You will give 3 reasons why you believe that it is funny or that it is not funny. You must provide quotations from the text AND explanations of those quotes in your essay to support your argument. You may NOT argue that it is both funny and not funny.

Using the attached paper, make the following corrections/enhancements. There are some writing things that I can touch on when I am able to make comments. Do put percents into numbers (8.2% as an example in your problem statement).
The problem statement is awkward:
Explain that first sentence.
The next one shifts gears to unemployment rates and it is unclear if that is statistically significant, that difference.
Then you switch to a claim that the low number creates challenges
That three relatively unrelated comments (at least for the readere). I think I understand the relationship between the third and fourth sentences but it would be the support systems (that there being few women means there are few there to support). That is different from the mental health services (and what do you mean by this – low in the workplace? EAP? Community services? Most organizations do not employ mental health services but they have something like EAP. You talk about these rise up and impact them but you say that this is due to few women veterans in the workplace. You need to clarify about male dominated industries. You have many very specific components but the problem sentence is more general. Do you want to focus on veterans who have experienced assault or female veterans in general. Are you wanting to look at female veterans who go into male dominated industries or “civilian society” in general. These are all very different. I think a lot of things were mentioned to differentiate women as unique but they serve to create confusion. -

“Comparing and Contrasting Mitosis and Meiosis: Understanding the Fundamental Processes of Cell Division”
For the fourth module, we delved into an important biological concept known as the cell cycle, which comprises both mitosis and meiosis. These processes are crucial to the survival and reproduction of organisms, and understanding them will help us appreciate how life continues and evolves.
In the process of mitosis, cells divide to generate new cells, playing a pivotal role in growth, repair, and general maintenance of an organism. When a cell or tissue in the body is damaged, cellular division, primarily mitosis, kicks in. It works to replace the damaged cells with new healthy cells, thus facilitating the repair of tissues and ensuring the continuity of functions within the organism.
On the other hand, meiosis is a specialized type of cell division that produces gametes, specifically sperm and egg cells. These cells are vital for sexual reproduction as they carry half of the genetic material required to form a new individual. By undergoing meiosis, cells are able to halve their chromosome number, ensuring that when the sperm and egg combine during fertilization, the resulting offspring has the correct number of chromosomes.
