For this class, The Beefsteak Reinforcing Culture Through Human Capital Development Case Study Analysis final presentation assignment will apply toward Folio.
Scenario
Beefsteak is a fast-casual restaurant concept from acclaimed Chef José Andrés that focuses on the “unsung power of vegetables” (Beefsteak Company Background Packet, n.d., page 7). José Andrés is a world-renowned chef and owner of a number of restaurants. He was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for his work with disaster relief through his nonprofit organization World Central Kitchen. Andrés’s mission is to change the world through the power of food. Jim Biafore, Senior Director for Beefsteak, knows that culture—much like any good business—is forever changing, adapting to its environment. As Beefsteak grows, he sees the need to develop employees not only for return on investment, but also for maintenance of the culture and values espoused from the larger organization, ThinkFoodGroup. Beefsteak needs to develop programs to develop its employees in line with the company’s mission and strategic direction.
Assume the role of a Beefsteak consultant dedicated to creating and reinforcing the company’s ideal culture. Jim Biafore wants you to assess Beefsteak’s current company culture, determine ways that it can be improved, forecast potential changes through growth, and provide a plan for sustaining cultural longevity through employees.
Using the materials provided to you, as well as at least two to three additional resources pertaining to human resource management, prepare a PowerPoint presentation with audio on the proposal for a strategic human capital development program focused on the transmission of company core values. You may use the University of Arizona Global Campus resource, Presentation TipsLinks to an external site., for assistance on adding audio to your presentation. If you are having difficulty uploading the audio and PowerPoint, consider uploading at a different time, breaking it into audio and the presentation, or breaking the presentation into two parts.
To communicate with Beefsteak’s Jim Biafore and executive team, you will present your analysis using PowerPoint with audio. The analysis should be six to eight slides. The strategic human capital analysis should reinforce the culture through
recruitment
training
retention
team development
organizational responsibility
The analysis should also consider Week 4’s contemporary human capital topic and predictive analysis.
Consider the following questions as you prepare your analysis:
What might you infer about Beefsteak’s current company culture? Does it have elements of organizational responsibility?
What key characteristics should Beefsteak recruiters look for in candidates, especially with regard to how someone will fit into the company culture?
How does job training and employee development differ from a cultural standpoint?
What motivates individuals or employees to believe in a cause?
What do employees want out of development programs?
What about employee development programs benefits the company?
Why is it important to think about employee development at this stage?
What contemporary human capital issues might you consider at Beefsteak?
Is it possible to use some predictive analysis technique?
How might things differ if Beefsteak expands globally rather than just in the U.S.?
How do you plan to measure the success/failure of your culture strategy? What steps will you take to ensure that the culture is shifting and/or being reinforced in that way that you intend?
In this presentation analysis,
Determine ways to improve the company’s culture in a growth environment.
Assess and make recommendations regarding the company’s recruiting, training, development, and retention strategies.
Integrate contemporary human capital topics and predictive analysis.
Discuss potential global expansion on the company culture and success.
Formulate an overall organized and concise proposal for the company’s ideal culture supported through human resource management.

Nitty Gritty
For this paper, we’re going to practice student APA style. APA is super easy to grade, so do this carefully. You won’t need an abstract, but you will need a title page, the main content pages, and a references page. Here’s a sample student paperLinks to an external site. from APA.
You should use 1 academic/scholarly outside source.

Why are we doing this?
This assignment engages your writing and critical thinking skills by asking you to go beyond passive reading and acceptance of ideas to explore and develop your own ideas based on the evidence presented to you. You will have to think about your position then support those ideas with sound and logical evidence.
How can I do well?
I will be looking at your paper and grading it based on the argument skills discussed in the module and in your Individual Writing Workshop as well as the basic writing conventions for a formal paper.
How is it supposed to look?
You should have a Reference page and in-text citations for this paper using APA documentation of an outside source.
As with all other formal assignments, this paper should be typed, double-spaced, and printed in 12 point Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins. The page should be formatted using APA guidelines, an example of which can be found in a previous module. -

Management Skills and Practices for Improving Team Productivity and Efficiency Overview: The Pet Supply Company is facing a drop in productivity and efficiency among its team, leading to conflicts between management and employees. The managers have been micromanaging the team, resulting
Overview
Analyze the provided scenario to determine how management skills and practices can help support the team. Using the management skills and practices that suit your team and its objectives can help to ensure the team’s efficiency and productivity.
Scenario
Imagine that you are an organizational consultant for a Pet Supply Company. The director of retail operations has asked you to evaluate the reason for some of the team’s drop in productivity and make recommendations for their improvement. Further conversations with the team members and managers reveal a conflict in the way productivity and efficiency is being measured and handled.
The team members say that their managers micromanage them. Each week, the managers send out a task list for the team and expect them to fill out detailed timesheets every day to cross-reference the task list. Any deviations from the list must be explained in a separate email. Moreover, some team members feel their skill sets are not being used correctly, and that they would be better suited to do tasks that are not being assigned to them. This has led to some resentment within the team, not to mention high levels of stress to meet the managers’ demands.
The managers maintain that they have just been following the process that’s been set out for years in the company. The many unresolved issues are taking a toll on the team’s productivity and efficiency, which then feeds back into the conflict, creating a vicious circle.
Prompt
Write a brief report to the director of retail operations that explains the management skills and practices you feel will improve team productivity and efficiency, using the module reading to support your recommendations.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Overview: Provide a brief overview of the problem you have been asked to resolve, making sure to note specific areas of conflict between management approaches and employee feedback based on the provided scenario.
Management Approaches: Describe the general functions of management as well as the purpose and benefits of using established management skills and practices, making sure to use course resources to support your explanation.
Recommendations: Recommend a new management approach, consisting of a blend of management skills and practices, that you believe will help improve the team’s productivity and efficiency. Explain why you believe these approaches will be effective, and make sure to use course resources to support your recommendations.

“Strategic Analysis and Recommendations for Long-Term Success: A Comprehensive Assessment of AFI, VRIO, Value Chain, PESTLE, and Five Forces for [Organization Name]” “Strategic Analysis and Planning for Long-Term Success: A Comprehensive Examination of the AFI Framework, VRIO/Value Chain, PESTLE, and Five Forces Analyses”
Complete a VRIO or Value Chain analysis, a PESTLE analysis, and a Five Forces model for an organization. Prepare a 3-6-page executive report that analyzes the internal and external environments of the organization and recommends a course of action based on the analysis.
AFI, VRIO, and value chain are just three concepts you need to understand as a business strategist. This assessment focuses on these important facets of business analysis.
Introduction
For this assessment, you will analyze the internal and external factors that shape and influence an organization’s strategy. Your work on this assessment will demonstrate your understanding of industry forces and how an organization can leverage its strengths to its advantage. This portfolio work project asks you to analyze the strategic process using the AFI framework. This analysis will clearly demonstrate your ability to think critically and strategically, and to use evidence to support your thinking.
Scenario
The vice president of strategy has asked you to prepare an objective analysis of the internal and external environments of the organization. She is hoping that your insight can be used to plan for the future direction of the company.
Your Role
You are a strategic analyst for the company you have selected to use in this course. The company has recently started the strategic planning process and needs to analyze the current internal and external environments.
Requirements
To complete this assessment, be sure you understand the AFI framework as presented in your text. Conduct your own research to find recent articles on the value of strategic planning and the role of leadership in the strategic planning process. (Note that the Strategic Management Process Map on pages 30 and 31 of the course text will be very helpful in completing this assessment.)
For this assessment, you will need to complete a VRIO or Value Chain analysis, a PESTLE analysis based on research of the organization (not conjecture or opinion), and a Five Forces model (pay attention to the relationships of elements from both PESTLE and Five Forces). These must be included as appendices in the document you submit. You should also research the industry your company is in, as well as the company’s website for information and supporting evidence. Once you have this research completed, prepare an executive briefing report that will be distributed to senior executive leadership. In your report, address the following:
Analyze the key components of the AFI strategic planning framework. Assess the value of using a strategic planning framework for long-term success and sustained competitive advantage.
Analyze the internal environment of the organization.
What are the key findings from your VRIO or Value Chain analysis?
How well does the organization leverage its strengths to execute the business strategy?
How effective is the organizational structure and management system design?
Analyze the external environment of the organization.
What are the key findings from your PESTLE analysis?
What are the key findings from your Five Forces analysis?
How can the organization respond to these forces to better position itself?
Explain the role of leadership in the strategic planning process. Be sure to address the ethical responsibilities of leaders in the strategic planning process.
Recommend a course of action for leadership based on your analysis.
Deliverable Format
The strategic process and analysis is a professional document and should therefore follow the corresponding MBA Academic and Professional Document Guidelines, found under Writing in the MBA Program Resources, which you can find in the Tools and Resources for this course. Pay attention to the sections on APA formatting and citing references.
In addition to the analysis, include:
Title page.
Table of contents.
Executive summary.
References page with APA formatted references from at least five sources.
Appendices: VRIO or Value Chain analysis, PESTLE analysis, and Five Forces analysis.
Target length of 3-6 content pages in addition to Title page, Table of Contents, Reference pages, and Appendices” including your VRIO/Value Chain, PESTLE, and Five Forces analyses.
Written for an audience of executive leaders.

Title: “Corporate Social Responsibility: Debating the Responsibilities of Corporations in Business Ethics”
It is a Philosophy course but content is related to Business Ethics.
Can pay for higher price if you can do a great work. Must following the instructions.
Essay topic
One of the central debates in business ethics concerns the nature of corporate social responsibility—specifically, whether corporate executives/managers have moral obligations which go beyond maximizing profit for stockholders. With direct reference to the essays by Friedman, Freeman and Heath, write a critical essay on the theme of corporate social responsibility. You should address the question: What are the social responsibilities of a corporation? Is a corporation solely responsible for maximizing profits for stockholders? Or do corporations have social responsibilities which go further than this, say to stakeholders or to the marketplace?
Instructions and criteria of assessment
In addressing the above topic, you should write an argumentative essay, whereby you:
(i) State your thesis explicitly (‘My goal in this paper is to…’).
(ii) Explicate the text (identifying, contrasting, and discussing the arguments made by the authors you are examining, and which relate to your thesis).
(iii) Provide analysis (with a view to supporting your thesis)
You should draw from all three of the above-mentioned authors in answering the above question. In other words, you will be evaluated on your explication and critical analysis of the three models of corporate responsibility, and on the strength of the arguments you make in support of the position for which you are arguing. The paper should be double spaced, 5 to 6 pages long, and it is due on May 20.
Here are some questions (guidelines) you should keep in mind in writing your paper:
Does your paper have a clearly articulated thesis?
Is the thesis supported by arguments?
Are these arguments logically structured?
Do you make use of the primary texts in defending your thesis?
Have you anticipated potential criticisms of your position and demonstrated why your position is superior to rival interpretations?
Is your writing clear and to the point?
Is your writing technically flawless, free of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors?
Do you have proper documentation in a consistent style?
Will use Turnitin detect plagiarism or AI writing.
