Scenario
You were invited as a consultant to assess the cohesiveness of the interdepartmental coordination of the healthcare services. The organization tries to improve efficiency and quality of care while reducing the expense on overhead and labor.
Infographic Diagram #1
Select a health organization. You may choose an ambulatory center, long-term care, acute care hospital, rehabilitation facility, physician practice, diagnostic (imaging or lab) facility, or retail pharmacy. Keep in mind that you must utilize a direct patient care organization not a public health entity, government facility or administrative organization such as a professional organization (AHA, AMA etc.).
In the associated memo for this portion of the assignment, be sure to provide the link to the chosen organization website and provide a paragraph or so about why you selected the organization. Follow APA 7 for formatting guidelines.
Select a health organization and demonstrate the interconnected departments within the organization. Follow the pathway of patients’ cases that are processed in the organization from check-in to the end of the encounter as well as activities relevant to the patient (HINT: coding, billing, insurance claim and such).
Demonstrate a minimum of 12 connections between departments. Identify by using arrows the subordinator protocols in the decision-making. Provide reasoning behind your findings in your associated Memo.

Select a real health organization (different from chosen for diagram 1) that you are either familiar with or wish to research which has an integrated model including multiple health delivery settings (inpatient, outpatient, medical practices, urgent care, managed care, etc.)
In the associated memo for this diagram, be sure to provide the link to the chosen organization website, and provide a paragraph or so about why you selected the organization. Also, discuss the identified connections and their subordination in decision making.
For this diagram, you can choose to follow a patient, supply chain or any other function requiring interdependency or involving different delivery settings.
Develop a diagram illustrating the connections between the different delivery settings. Analyze the value of demonstrated interdependences and provide an example how it improves organization at large performance and sustainability.
