  • Instructional and Wellness Strategies for College Students: A Comprehensive Guide

You will complete your final project for this course in three distinct parts or assignments. For
this project, you will interview a current professor and student in a college or university, a
member of the clergy who interacts with college students, and one higher education counselor or
advisor. The purpose of these interviews is for you to better understand research-based academic
strategies such as time management, study skills, and meeting college students’ emotional,
psychological, and spiritual needs. By conducting interviews and investigating scholarly
literature, the end product of these assignments will be a well-developed Instructional Research
Strategies Plan and Wellness Strategies Plan. You will present your plans and findings in a
PowerPoint presentation as the final stage of the project.
    INSTRUCTIONS
For this Final Project: Part 3 – PowerPoint Presentation Assignment, you will develop an
informative and engaging PowerPoint presentation for college students, encompassing concepts
from Parts 1 and 2 of this final project. Your presentation should educate students on at least
three of the six strategies (time management, life management, study skills, emotional well-
being, psychological health, spiritual development) you researched for this project. Seamlessly
incorporate information from Parts 1 and 2 of this final project. Part 3 will incorporate two new
    sources to enrich your presentation.
Your presentation must contain the following key components:
    1. Content Integration:
    • Thematic Continuity – Identify common themes or strategies, ensuring a fluid and
    logical flow.
    • Highlighting Key Findings – Select and emphasize the most significant findings. Use
bullet points, key quotes, or data visualization to make these stand out.
    • Case Studies or Examples – Incorporate real-life examples or case studies that were
part of your interviews or research—these help in grounding theoretical insights in
    practical scenarios.
    • Connecting to College Life – Relate each finding or strategy directly to college
student experiences, emphasizing how they can be applied in the context of college
    life.
    • Summary Slide – Conclude with a summary slide that encapsulates the key insights
from the entire presentation, linking back to the objectives outlined in the
    introduction.
    • Strategic Recommendations – Offer recommendations or conclusions based on the
integrated analysis of all parts, highlighting potential implications for college student
    support and development.
    2. Research and Sources:
