What to Submit
To complete this assignment, you must submit the following:
Submit your Project Template for grading. You will resubmit the same Project Template you used to complete your Module Three Project Draft One, with the work done for this assignment, Module Five Project Draft Two, included in Parts Two and Three of the template. No revisions to the work done in Part One of the template are expected at this time. Additionally, no sources are required. However, if you choose to use sources, they should be cited according to APA style.
Although Brightspace allows the addition of video notes in assignment submissions, you may not use the Video Note tool to complete this assignment.

The Memoir Essay
For
the first unit of the course, you will write an inward-looking essay,
using your own personal life as a source. Who are you? What has helped
shape your path in life? Your essay will relate some essential aspect(s)
of yourself and your identity that you wish to communicate to your
readers. (2-3 pages).
This is my proposal
What aspect or aspects of yourself will you be exploring in your memoir? Summarize your topic idea briefly.
In this memoir, I will explore my evolution through various cross-cultural experiences that have shaped my understanding of identity and belonging. This exploration will delve into the pivotal moments of living in different countries, encountering diverse cultures, and learning to adapt to new environments that significantly contrast with my place of origin. I will reflect on how these experiences have transformed my perspectives on society, relationships, and self-awareness.

My topic is  Transitioning to Renewable Energy Sources
(Evaluating the potential of solar, wind, hydroelectric, and other renewable
energy sources to meet current and future energy demands.)
So the full Argument Research Essay will be build on my
above topic. 

In this first unit, we have
explored/reviewed the basic elements that go into storytelling, as well
read two post-apocalyptic short stories:“Speech Sounds” by Octavia Butler (link) AND “Jaguar’s Breath” by Luis J. Rodriguez (link).
Your Job:
In 3-5 double spaced pages analyze the stories in the following way:
Compare and contrast both short stories around ONE specific theme (lesson, idea, etc.) that you have identified. How
do the authors’ approaches to this theme differ, and what unique
perspectives do they offer? How does each story’s portrayal of the theme
contribute to its overall message or meaning?
Keys for success:
Your essay should be organized,
beginning with an intro and thesis statement that sets up and leads
directly to your points, and ultimately your conclusion. In the

Directly quote from both stories to
support the points you make about theme/meaning. A rule of thumb is to
have at least one quote for every body paragraph or point you make. 
Focus primarily on your own opinions

I do not want a summary of the story. If you hand me just a summary, then you will need to revise the paper.
You do not need any outside sources for this essay. I want to know how YOU, the reader, are responding to these stories.

interpretations as long as you can show examples from the story in the
