For this assignment, write a 2–3 page paper about our Sun to further understand why this type of star allows for habitability on Earth. To successfully complete this assignment, your evaluation should address the following:
The Sun is considered to be a low-mass star. Why is a low-mass star more favorable in hosting planets that are habitable?
In reviewing the activity associated with the Sun as seen by the SOHO mission, is the Sun as calm and quite as you expected or not? What are some of the consequences that we must deal with here on Earth that are directly related to solar cycle and the intensity of solar storms?
In the readings in the Astronomy ebook concerning solar activity, the phenomenon called “space weather” is reviewed. What property of a planet would be most valuable in protecting its surface from the solar wind?

“Effective Learning Objectives for Nursing Education: Examples for Classroom, Laboratory, and Clinical Settings”
Each post must be your new work. While your initial response to the discussion questions should be concise (no more than 300 words), written with accepted conventions of standard American English, and use of a minimum of two in-text citations and references in APA 7th edition format, follow-up postings may be more informal and relaxed. However, please grammar and spell-check all postings. You must have an original and a responsive posts to two (2) students in order to get credit for your discussion.
Learning objectives are important to illustrate what an expected students learning will be. Learning objectives are further solidified when they are clearly communicated to avoid misinterpretation (McDonald, 2018). Stated instructional objectives better promote learning experiences to attainment of the objectives (Orr et.al,2022). Here are 3 learning objective examples that focus on classroom, laboratory, and clinical.
Classroom: The student nurse learner will examine and distinguish signs and symptoms of hypo/hyperglycemia.
Laboratory: The student nurse learner will ensure accuracy in data collection for correct evaluation results.
Clinical: After completing this course, the student learner will learn how to promote patient safety by following strict protocols for blood draw specimen collection and handling.

“Procedures for Ensuring Compliance: A Step-by-Step Guide for Employees in a Large Medical Facility”
Module 04 Content
As a continuation to examining your policies, review for procedures that may relate to them.
In a 4-page paper, describe the procedures for each of the two compliance plans. NOTE: procedures are not the same thing as policies. Policies (Module 03) sets the parameters for decision-making, while procedures explains the “how”. The procedures should be step-by-step instructions, and may include a checklist or process steps to follow.
Break each procedure section into 2 pages each.
Remember to support your procedures for each of two plans with a total of three research sources (1-2 per procedure), cited at the end in APA format.
Write your procedures in a way that all employees will understand at a large medical facility where you are the Compliance Officer.
Remember, you chose two compliance policy plans under the key compliance areas of Compliance Standards, High-Level Responsibility, Education, Communication, Monitoring/Auditing (for Safety), Enforcement/Discipline, and Response/Prevention. (Check them out if you forget! Remember, you may have written about different policies for the two different compliance plans.) -

“Challenges and Strategies in Healthcare Delivery under Managed Care: A Case Study of NBMC and the Impact of Managed Care Models on Future Healthcare Delivery” “Document Formatting Basics: Creating Professional-Looking Documents”
Let us delve into the challenges faced by NBMC and the strategies employed to adapt to managed care requirements. The case study of NBMC highlights the complex interplay between managed care and healthcare delivery. Understanding the challenges posed by managed care and implementing proactive strategies to adapt to its requirements, healthcare organizations can optimize care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape. Research the challenges and strategies necessary to overcome those challenges in healthcare delivery under managed care. Some challenges that exist, but not limited to are: Care Coordination, Provider-patient relationships, Patient Access, and Financial constraints.
Utilize your research for the summary paper assignment on the challenges in healthcare delivery under managed care, and discuss your view on the below items:
How can healthcare providers effectively engage patients in shared decision-making and self-management support within the framework of managed care?
What initiatives can be adopted to optimize managed care delivery and enhance patient outcomes?
How might the evolution of managed care models, such as accountable care organizations (ACOs) and bundled payments, impact healthcare delivery in the future?
Provide a minimum of two references in APA format. Provides accurate and properly formatted in-text citations for all sources referenced in the discussion.
All initial posts need a reference. Your initial post should never be all opinion. You need to refer to the reading and prior research.
Plagiarism of 20% or more result in a “0”.
Part 2
Managed care programs come in several varieties. HMOs (health maintenance organizations) and PPOs (preferred provider organizations) are two of the most common. The majority of others combine the two. With the exception that each managed care plan’s duties differ significantly from the next, the fundamental role of governance and control in HMOs, PPOs, and other plans are the same as those in any other organization.
The use of a provider network with discounts, prior approval of procedures, utilization management of treatment guidelines, utilization review, case management, peer review and second opinions, prospective, concurrent, and retrospective audits, and grievance procedures are just some of the cost-controlling strategies employed by managed care programs.
Review the resources listed in the weekly resources to prepare for this week’s assignment(s).
“Identify a local non-profit health care organization that uses a managed care model. You can either conduct an interview with a senior leader of the organization (this may be the CEO, COO, a Senior Vice-President, Vice-President or other such position) OR research about the organization itself. A useful example can be found in many issues of the Journal of Healthcare Management, which often publishes interviews with health care leaders, including on this topic. Interview the individual or research on their managed care model, challenges, its advantages and disadvantages, and why their system does not use other models of managed care. You may also include other interview questions of your choosing, as long as they are relevant to the overall topic of the paper.”
Once you conduct your interview or research, summarize your findings on the main managed care model utilized.
