With the recent increase in retail vendors such as Amazon, Temu, Shein, and others providing cheap alternatives to legitimate products, consideration must be given to what is fueling this increase in dupe/counterfeit culture and its disregard for copyright laws. Conduct your research into laws surrounding copyrights, patents, and design characteristics, and build your argument for or against dupe/counterfeit culture.
Provide consideration within your research for why dupe/counterfeit brands can offer their products at such a discount. Consider labor laws, unsafe working conditions, and even unsafe materials from which the products are being made.

Mobility in computing is becoming a primary driving factor for businesses, especially following the Covid-19 pandemic. When the pandemic hit, many businesses were not ready to send their workers home and did not have the networking infrastructure in place to support secure remote access to business resources. The move to support remote access not only hit businesses but also major internet and cellular providers who were also not set up to handle the massive changes in demand for service.
