Chose to write a literature review on Multicultural Education in Teacher Preparation Programs instead of getting a teaching certificate because I would like to work post law school graduation in Education Law. Have since graduation further focused on Special Education law through my work as an RBT and ESE assistant. Dad died right before undergrad graduation. Went to work at a law firm specializing in estate planning and real estate law. Did all the paperwork and filing for my dad’s probate as he left us in a really messy financial situation and did all the work for the sale of our family home. Recently diagnosed with lupus and working on getting back to school. If you need anymore information, feel free to contact me. I have attached my literature review for just additional background if needed.

  • The Impact of Divorce on Children’s Mental Health: A Focus on Custodial Arrangements during COVID-19 in New York

I already did a draft of this research paper, attached I will leave the draft on the bibiography section you can find the articles that I’m using this is some feedbavk from the professor “the draft is a good start but my concern is that the paper is not focused. While it does address mental health after divorce, the topic is too broad. To narrow it focus on maybe specific kinds of divorce, specific kinds of custodial arrangements, etc. Right now, it is stating something pretty obvious and uncontested, divorce impacts children. You can narrow in on divorce during covid in NY, or 50/50 custody arrangement impact on children. This is a good start but you will need to narrow and continue drafting. Your articles are also fine, but you will need more and I suggest you get NY specific. You can utilize the library for help with research to narrow your topic.” please try to use simple English words in writing this. if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

summary of the  3 attached documents; all
three should fit on one single-spaced page (or longer if you choose). Use the
format and writing style that are in the various example affidavits. Detail and
context (the “why it matters”) are usually the most critical.
HINT: Remember that we want to capture the most interesting
data and what relevance it has to the overall investigation. Help the
adjudicator “connect the dots” by showing material misstatements,
    omissions, or contradictory information.

  • “My Sociological Reflection: Understanding Myself and My Story in Societal Context”

One of sociology’s central tasks is to show the ways in which an individual’s life is inextricably embedded in and influenced by the social world. Using all the sociological ideas you have learned so far in this course, write a brief reflection on yourself and your story in sociological terms. You may ask such questions as: What is my social identity? In other words, what groups and categories do you belong to? In what ways do you identify yourself in social terms (i.e. by your membership in these groups)? In what ways are these memberships relevant to you? Consider that group and categorical memberships may be anything from a club you intentionally joined to something that was assigned to you by society (such as race, ethnicity, class, and gender). What are the elements of my culture? In other words, how do the social formations (society, family, community, groups, etc.), which you grew up in or later became aware of, teach people to understand and act in the world? Consider that “culture” can contain everything from traditions and customs to morals, beliefs, and values. Where am I positioned in my society’s structure? Recall that social structures, typically, are hierarchical ways of arranging the elements of a society – including all the groups and categories to which you belong. How do you think this has been relevant to your life? What do you think would have been different about your life if some aspect of your social identity had been different? -Note that you do not have to go into detail about anything you feel is too personal or sensitive.
