In Week 1, you were introduced to the final project. In Week 2, you submitted a tentative outline and purpose statement for the in-depth Literature Review.
This week you have to complete your paper on your chosen health problem. The paper should be a minimum of 6 pages and should use a minimum of 5 peer reviewed journal articles. In Week 1 you have been provided with pointers to guide you in developing the final paper. You must have followed them and developed your paper by this time.
An error-free document helps to convey your thoughts and intent more completely.
Use the following pointers to guide you in developing your paper:
Provide a clear, specific, definition of your topic. For example, your topic can be on CHD, obesity, or smoking.
How does this topic or health behavior relate to the leading health indicators/focus areas/goals of Healthy People 2020 document? This document can be found at Healthy People 2020
How is this topic or behavior relevant to community health? How is this topic relevant to other national health campaigns or national health initiatives?
If you are writing about a health behavior, what is the prevalence of this behavior in the United States and your state? Does prevalence differ by gender, race, age, socioeconomic status? Provide some statistics here.
Describe the significance of this topic/health behavior in America today. Discuss any diseases and/or societal problems caused by this behavior. Are there any financial costs or costs to society associated with this topic/behavior?
Describe the risk factors associated with this topic/behavior. What factors lead to this health behavior or disease?
How can the risk factors be controlled or prevented? How can the negative outcomes be prevented? What are the current recommendations for preventing premature morbidity/mortality in this area? Are there any programs that have shown to be effective in the literature?
Please identify a minimum of three organizations or healthcare agencies either nationally or locally that provide programs, funding, or resources to address this issue

my stand point: Covid cause kids to fall behind in their developmental learning
this is part of a research paper, this is the first part of the assignment. based off of the topic above and the standpoint taken compose a persuasive thesis statement that articulates this topic as well as the position taken on the topic. additionally, you will offer two to four research questions that help defend the position taken. these questions will be used for the second part of the assignment.

The pro-choice versus pro-life dilemma is common in nursing. For example, when a patient wishes to have an abortion because they do not want a baby, yet a nurse is pro-life because of religious beliefs, it becomes a big dilemma.

STEP TWO: Identify the theory – write a couple paragraphs about the basic tenets of the theory you selected. You can use your textbook as a reference for this.
STEP THREE: Apply the theory directly to your change project. How will you complete each step or address each principle of the theory in your project? Review chapters 12 and 13 of your textbook to assist you with this section.
STEP FOUR: Add an introduction and conclusion paragraph for the assignment if it is an essay or a summary slide if it is a PPT presentation.

You are a bit unsure of the process, but you know you will do a good job because, as a nurse, you are familiar with difficult tasks.
