Now that you’ve read about what Technical Writing is, it’s time to put those concepts to use by exploring and analyzing an increasingly common form of technical writing: Infographics. 
Infographics are visual representations of data, knowledge, or processes designed to make information easily understandable.  
Conduct a Google Image search for infographics related in some way to nursing or healthcare.  
Tip: Search the term “infographic” along with a literally any healthcare or nursing-related term you’re interested in. For example, try “infographic NCLEX,” “nursing infographic ER,” or “nursing infographic pain management.” 
Choose one infographic and analyze it against the characteristics for good technical writing in this week’s reading. Write up your analysis into a document and submit it via this page to complete the assignment.  
For easy reference, here again are the 6 characteristics from the reading:

Your analysis should assess how well the infographic you’ve chosen achieves the characteristics above. If it falls short in any of these categories, explain why.  
Your document should:

Be 12pt, Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, double spaced.   
Be 3-4 paragraphs long (with a minimum of 3 sentences per paragraph).  

Imagine you have been asked to prepare and deliver an analysis of an existing QI initiative at your workplace. The QI initiative you choose to analyze should be related to a specific disease, condition, or public health issue of personal or professional interest to you. The purpose of the report is to assess whether the specific quality indicators point to improved patient safety, quality of care, cost and efficiency goals, and other desired metrics. Your target audience is nurses and other health professionals with specializations or interest in your chosen condition, disease, or public health issue.

Working in the healthcare sector has some rather high expectations. Burnout, however, results from this. Because of their enormous workloads and stress, nurses frequently find it difficult to provide patients with the high-quality treatment they deserve. We will examine the signs of nurse burnout in our study, including persistent exhaustion, worry, illness, and the feeling of being overworked and under pressure, which increases turnover and makes it harder for nurses to provide patients with the care they need. However, long work hours, lack of sleep, emotional stress from patients, exposure to job-related violence or threats, work overload, and time constraints are all factors that contribute to burnout in the health industry. However, every engaged nurse should possess the psychological capital of self-leadership. The idea was that if someone can’t lead himself, how can they ever lead others? The foundation of a nurse’s capacity to lead themselves is based on four practices: purposefulness, mindfulness, reflection, and practice. This study will look at the relationship between nurse burnout and self-leadership. We are interested in finding out whether self-led nurses experience good or negative differences from non-self-led nurses, as well as how this affects burnout.
