Propose a hypothetical health promotion plan addressing a particular health concern or health need affecting a fictitious individual or group living in the community. The hypothetical individual or group of your choice must be living in the community; not in a hospital, assistant living, nursing home, or other facility.
Topic: Tobacco Cessation
The process of discontinuing tobacco smoking and includes vaping, e-cigarettes, hookah, chewing tobacco, and traditional smoking. Potential Health Impacts; tobacco use can lead to various cancers, heart disease, stroke, and lung diseases. Cessation reduces these risks and can improve quality of life.
Format to write (topics that must ne discussed)
Analyze the health concern that is the focus of your health promotion plan.
Consider underlying assumptions and points of uncertainty in your analysis.
Explain why a health concern is important for health promotion within a specific population.
Examine current population health data.
Consider the factors that contribute to health, health disparities, and access to services.
Explain the importance of establishing agreed-upon health goals in collaboration with hypothetical participants.
Organize content so ideas flow logically with smooth transitions; contains few errors in grammar/punctuation, word choice, and spelling.

Group Therapy for Harriet: Addressing Family Problems and Supporting Positive Health Outcomes in Recovery
After studying Module 1: Lecture Materials & Resources, discuss the following:
Harriet is a 51-year-old married woman with a past history of alcohol and cocaine abuse. She has been attending AA and NA meetings regularly and does not report urges to drink or use drugs during the 4 years you have been her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She needs carpal tunnel surgery and the typical regimen during recovery is oxycodone 15 mg per day.
What information would be most critical for the group leader to collect in the first visit?
What is the primary goal for the treatment of this patient’s family problem, based on the US clinical guidelines?
Discuss one curative factor the group would observe during the initial, middle and termination phases in group therapy?
Identify your city. Then refer this patient to three agencies near you that would support positive health outcomes for this patient. (These agencies must not have been used in past discussion posts). What was your rationale for choosing these three agencies?
Submission Instructions:
Your initial post should be at least 500 words, formatted, and cited in the current APA style.
Provide support for your work from at least 2 academic sources less than 5 years old.
Your initial post is worth 8 points.

Title: Enhancing Patient Outcomes and Care Efficiencies through Nursing Informatics: A Project Proposal for Healthcare Organizations
In the Discussion for this module, you considered the interaction of
nurse informaticists with other specialists to ensure successful care.
How is that success determined?
Patient outcomes and the fulfillment of care goals is one of the
major ways that healthcare success is measured. Measuring patient
outcomes results in the generation of data that can be used to improve
results. Nursing informatics can have a significant part in this process
and can help to improve outcomes by improving processes, identifying
at-risk patients, and enhancing efficiency.
To Prepare:
Review the concepts of technology application as presented in the Resources.
Reflect on how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence
may help fortify nursing informatics as a specialty by leading to
increased impact on patient outcomes or patient care efficiencies.
The Assignment: (4-5 pages not including the title and reference page)
In a 4- to 5-page project proposal written to the leadership of your
healthcare organization, propose a nursing informatics project for your
organization that you advocate to improve patient outcomes or
patient-care efficiency. Your project proposal should include the
following:
Describe the project you propose.
Identify the stakeholders impacted by this project.
Explain the patient outcome(s) or patient-care efficiencies this
project is aimed at improving and explain how this improvement would
occur. Be specific and provide examples.
Identify the technologies required to implement this project and explain why.
Identify the project team (by roles) and explain how you would incorporate the nurse informaticist in the project team.
Use APA format and include a title page and reference page.
Use the Safe Assign Drafts to check your match percentage before submitting your
work. -

“The Future of Nursing: Preparing for Health Equity and Addressing Social Determinants of Health” According to the Committee for the Future of Nursing 2020-2030 report, one of the outcomes for achieving health equity is to increase the diversity
For this assignment, you will need to access the Future of Nursing Report:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK573919/
Links to an external site.
Reflect on your nursing school journey and discuss the ‘Future of Nursing Report’ (FON). On a Word document, record your answers to the following questions. Each response should be a minimum of 175 words and should be in APA formatting.
According to the Committee for the Future of Nursing 2020-2030 report, the vision of the initiative is the achievement of health equity in the U.S. built on strengthened nursing capacity and expertise as outlined in the 10 nursing outcomes found in Box S-1 of the report. Identify one outcome and describe how you believe the nursing program and your clinical experience will prepare you to contribute to that outcome.
Additionally, the Future of Nursing report categorizes social determinants of health (SDoH): Economic Stability, Education, Social and Community Context, Health, and Healthcare, and Neighborhood and Built Environment. Review the information in the FON report for SDoH and discuss how you will be prepared, as a nurse, to address those healthcare needs. Describe how you will use your education and skills to promote the achievement of health equity.
Reflect on how your knowledge/views/opinions have changed or remained the same since starting your education .
Think about your future nursing practice. How will you use nursing knowledge to champion health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management?
Submission Guidelines:
Record your answers to the questions on a Word document. Be sure to address each question promopt.
Give credit to your sources using 7th edition APA formatting. The Writing Center Links to an external site. or Purdue OWLLinks to an external site. have resources to help with in-text citations and the reference page.

Title: Developing a Research Question and Identifying Variables and Levels of Measurement
What is the incidence of blood clots from COVID-19 in females over the age of 35?
The
above question is an example of a research question. A research
question consists of three parts and guides the methods and approaches
in which you will study the question to find answers. The research
question includes: the question, the topic, and the population or
variables. In the example provided above, the question is examining the
prevalence of blood clots from severe COVID-19 in a selected population.
From this question, the variables can be assessed, considerations can
be analyzed, and populations can be sampled in order to guide the
research.
During Week 2, you developed a research problem
statement based on a topic of interest to you or your specific area of
practice. Using this research problem statement, you will develop a
research question. “A research question is a concise, interrogative
statement that is worded in the present tense and includes one or more
of a study’s principal concepts or variables” (Gray & Grove, 2020).
These questions typically point to the type of study that will be
conducted and serves as a guide for the research.
For this
Discussion, reflect on your research problem statement. Consider the
independent and dependent variables of your research problem through the
construction of a research question. Reflect on the potential levels of
measurement for your variables and the rationale for the labels, as
well as consider the advantages and challenges that you might experience
in the statistical analysis of your proposed variables.
To prepare:
Review your research problem statement from Week 2 to develop your research question.
Review the Learning Resources on how to describe variables.
Consider the levels of measurement for your variables: nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio.
After
reviewing your research question and considering the levels of
measurement, analyze your classification for each variable. What was
behind your reasoning for labeling the variables? How might the data be
analyzed based on these labels?
Consider advantages and challenges that you might encounter in the statistical analysis of your proposed variables.
Post your research question and describe the
independent and dependent variables. Then, identify the level of
measurement of both your independent and dependent variables. Provide a
brief rationale for your classification of each variable. Be specific.
Explain considerations of analyzing data related to each variable based
on its level of measurement. Be sure to include any advantages or
challenges that you might encounter in your statistical analysis of each
variable and explain why. -
Title: Navigating Challenges in Shared Governance: A Case Study for Ryan
Ryan graduated from his BSN program about 18 months ago and has been working on a
surgical unit in a large Magnet hospital. He belongs to his state nurse’s association and the
Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). He recently moved to another town for
graduate school and took a job in a small community hospital. The new chief nursing
officer is trying to create a shared governance structure. The nursing staff seems
disinterested in participating in such a governance structure. Some of them complain that
they do not want to “think” about nursing beyond what they have to do at the bedside.
Ryan served on the practice council at the hospital where he worked after graduation. The
nurses he works with now are discouraging him from volunteering to serve on one of the
new councils being formed to implement shared governance. He is frustrated by his
colleagues of interest in participating in decision making about nursing care. He wonders if
this is the right place for him to work while in his graduate program. Although this hospital
is closely affiliated with the school of nursing where he is a graduate student, the nurses on
his unit openly challenge the wisdom of his decision to pursue a graduate degree.
1. What resources should Ryan use to gain support for his desire to participate
in the new shared governance structure?
2. If Ryan wants to test the job market to find a position in a more positive
nursing work environment, what resources can he use?
3. Ryan has been subjected to a lot of questions and negative comments by
some of the senior staff nurses about his graduate studies. They tend to
negate the importance of advancing one’s nursing education. How can he
redirect their comments?
**Please do not accept this assignment if you are not familair with nursing this is froma nursing sperspective.**
