The purpose of this assignment is to provide research evidence in support of the PICOT you developed for your selected topic.
Conduct a search for 6 peer-reviewed, translational research articles published within the last 5 years that demonstrate support for your PICOT. You may include research articles from assignments completed previously in this course. Use the “Literature Evaluation Table” provided to evaluate the articles and explain how the research supports your PICOT.
Once your instructor returns this assignment, review the feedback and make any revisions necessary. If you are directed by your instructor to select different articles in order to meet the assignment criteria or to better support your PICOT, make these changes accordingly. You will use the literature evaluated in this assignment for all subsequent assignments you develop as part of your evidence-based practice project proposal in this course and in NUR-590, during which you will synthesize all of the sections into a final written paper detailing your evidence-based practice project proposal.

Assignment Overview
Review the fiscal implications of your proposed MSN project. Identify expenses associated with the project, any revenue which may be realized, and future cost savings which may be intended. Explore the variables which may impact the financial aspect of your project, and consider strategies to address variance which may occur.
After careful review of these elements, review Appendix I item #4 in the Johns Hopkins Action Planning Tool, located in the MSN Toolbox and the MSN Project Financial Management Table. Create a 3 to 5 page paper, using a minimum of 4 peer-reviewed scholarly sources, current within 5 years, to support your work.

Provide an introduction to the paper.
Using an economy of words, provide a succinct overview of the MSN project. Include a statement of the purpose or problem to be addressed.
Discuss implications of the MSN project for advanced nursing practice, including: (a) how the impact of MSN project will promote efficiency or cost savings within the healthcare environment; and (b) how the project will contribute to a culture of safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
Provide a concise narrative summary addressing the financial expenses associated with the MSN Project, as well as any revenue (if applicable) which may be realized. Pharmacological treatment strategies for anxiety disorders and OCD seem very similar but there are certain caveats, like differences in evidence or specific FDA indications, for example, that can help to guide your treatment decisions.

In the Discussion for this module, you considered the interaction of
nurse informaticists with other specialists to ensure successful care.
How is that success determined?
Patient outcomes and the fulfillment of care goals is one of the
major ways that healthcare success is measured. Measuring patient
outcomes results in the generation of data that can be used to improve
results. Nursing informatics can have a significant part in this process
and can help to improve outcomes by improving processes, identifying
at-risk patients, and enhancing efficiency.
To Prepare:
Review the concepts of technology application as presented in the Resources.
Reflect on how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence
may help fortify nursing informatics as a specialty by leading to
increased impact on patient outcomes or patient care efficiencies.
