Professor instructions and requirements: 
This essay should be approximately 3-5 pages, double-spaced. You should use at least two (2) resources, and they must be cited according to MLA style. This essay is divided into three parts:
Discuss the background/context of social media: What is it? Who uses it? How is society and our culture impacted by it?

Criteria:
Part of business analysis includes making decisions, solving problems, and managing projects. To efficiently manage projects, business analysts use tools to ensure each element of the project is identified, tracked, and communicated. Drawing tools like drawio.net, SmartDraw, LucidSpark, or Microsoft Visio allow managers to create visual representations of processes and systems. It allows them to identify relationships and flows between problem stakeholders and processes.
Assignment Instructions:
For this assignment, create three diagrams of your company using your choice of draw tool. Note drawio.net is a few and intuitive choice. Save a screenshot of each image to include in your analysis paper.
Diagram 1: Status quo of the company’s problem as seen in Week 1; include the problem owner(s) and stakeholders in your diagram
Diagram 2: One solution alternative and how it will interact with the problem owner(s) and stakeholders
Diagram 3: A second solution alternative and how it will interact with the problem owner(s) and stakeholders
In Microsoft Word, write a 5-7 page paper where you briefly introduce your company and its current problem. The body of your paper will discuss alternative solutions to solve the problem, including decision-making criteria and weights used during the decision-making process. Your paper will conclude with a thoughtful analysis of decision alternatives, choosing the best to solve the company’s problem, and justifying your opinion. Your paper will be supported by a minimum of five sources cited both in-text and on a reference page, including the BABOK® Guide, the company, and other scholarly sources from the KU Library. You will include screenshot images of each of your three diagrams in an appendix in your paper. The appendix will be placed after the reference page.

Completed Capstone Project Applied Research Proposal
For this assignment, you will submit the completed Capstone Project Applied Research Proposal. After implementing all feedback and revisions required by your professor from the previous course assignments, use the Capstone Project Template to finalize your research proposal. In addition to the sections previously developed, you will add the Expected Results and Conclusion as indicated in the template. Your assignment must comply with the provided template and must be 10-15 pages in length, excluding the title page and references. It must have a minimum of five original peer-reviewed research studies relevant to the topic. In addition, there must be citations to provide support and justification throughout the various sections of the research proposal. In addition to the previously developed and revised sections, you will add Section 4 content, including:
Expected Results: Discuss the specific outcomes or measures that are expected from conducting the study and to whom/what the outcomes would apply. The expected results should directly align with the problem statement, research questions/hypotheses, and the research process. This section provides critical content to support the need for the proposed study and to demonstrate the expected outcomes if the study were to be conducted. Discuss how the study results would likely contribute to existing gaps in the literature.
Practical Implications and Recommendations: Discuss the practical implications and applications of the expected results and how these could be used to provide recommendations to practitioners and policymakers within the study setting. Include citations from scholarly and methodological sources to support your content.
Conclusion: Develop a conclusion to the research proposal in addition to reiterating what you consider to be the one or two most important takeaways from the expected results of the research.
Write in a scholarly and objective tone, avoiding the use of first person, personal pronouns, contractions, and colloquial or conversational language. Avoid the use of direct quotations. This assignment requires the use of the assigned readings and outside research. Use citations from the assigned readings and eight additional scholarly, peer-reviewed sources throughout your assignment to support your content and credit sources of information and ideas.

In addition to fulfilling the specifics of the assignment, a successful paper must also meet the following criteria:

The comprehensive plan is a community document.  As we see in the chapter, the development of this plan requires input and some level of buy-in from the community.  This belief in citizen participation is an important concept in public administration not just urban planning.  Unfortunately today people have busy lives and it is difficult for them to be involved.  Add in some of the concerns from Bowling Alone and planners have a challenge in engaging citizens.  As part of the comprehensive planning process you are asked to develop a plan to make sure that there is significant citizen input. How would you try to engage the citizens and increase participation?
