  • “A Utilitarian and Libertarian Perspective on President Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Program: A Close Analysis of Justice, What’s the Right Thing to Do?” Introduction President Biden’s proposed student loan forgiveness program has sparked a debate among various political ideologies.

Here is my essay prompt. In light of the evidence and arguments in the articles collected in your “midterm” module, would a utilitarian and/or a libertarian support President Biden’s student loan forgiveness program? On what grounds would both wholly accept, wholly reject, or partially accept/reject the program? Drawing on a close, careful analysis of the course texts, videos, and lectures, explain a) the conclusion BOTH a utilitarian and a libertarian would reach, b) the reasoning by which they would reach their respective conclusions, and c) the principles from which their reasoning follows. This essay should be 1800 words long and no more than 1850 words and no need for a work cited page or title page. This essay needs to revolve around the Book (Justice, what’s the right thing to do? by Michael J. Sandel) I have a pdf of the book and need to use chapters 1-5. There also articles which can be used but are more supplemental material but still important. I would like this essay to flow well and needs to have a strong thesis at the end of the intro paragraph. I can attach my writing guide also of how the essay should be with the format. There also videos which can be used for the citations but could be used for info understanding. Not every source needs to be used but what makes sense in this paper. I also included one of my previous essays that shows the format I am looking for and this was an A paper. Thank you 🙂

  • Title: Strategies for Winning a Presidential Election and the Importance of Realignment Theory in Contemporary Politics

Your take-home exam consists of two essay questions. Each answer is worth fifteen
points, and each answer cannot be longer than 3 double-spaced pages (a total of 6
pages). Your answers should equally integrate the assigned readings, lectures,
and outside sources. For the outside sources, I have provided a MLA Citation Guide
at the end of your syllabus. You should clearly define any abstract concepts introduced.
Political Science is at its best when applied to real life circumstances.
1.In 2024, former President Donald J. Trump and President Joseph R. Biden are in a
dead heat in the presidential election race. Neither candidate can figure out how to pull
ahead of the other in the polls. Given that you took this voting behavior class, both
candidates come to you seeking advice on how to win the presidential election. You can
    only serve on one campaign.
Using the lectures, assigned readings, and outside sources, you are to answer this
question: What three strategies would you recommend for Trump OR Biden to win the
presidential election (be sure to use textual evidence to support your claims)? For
example, find a weakness in certain demographics and explain how you would remedy
    that issue for your candidate.
    2. One of the central reasons our electoral system is so durable is because of the ability
of its party system to absorb the intense conflict and critical change that have developed
on occasion in its complex society. These major durable changes are a direct result of
realignment theory (including critical elections, realignments, secular realignments, and
dealignments). Based on the current political atmosphere, does it make realignment
theory less important than during past eras? To support your arguments, discuss three
factors in the realignment literature that contribute to a future realignment (or lack
thereof). Be sure to equally integrate the lectures, class readings, and outside sources.

Organize the discussion by concepts or topics rather than by discussing the articles one after another. There is not a length requirement.
