Briefly describe each theory (history, foundation, model, and application).
Discuss the strength and weakness of each theory.
Explain options and strategies that an organization can utilize to apply this theory to motivate employees.

“ANOVA Assignment: Exploring Statistical Relationships and Group Differences Using Jamovi”
Task Details
To complete Assessment 4 (ANOVA Assignment) you will need to perform and interpret a range of ANOVA analyses in order to answer ten questions. The analyses must be completed using the Jamovi software. You can find the assignment questions in the folder titled “Assessment 4: ANOVA Assignment (Resources)”.
You will receive feedback on your A2: Regression Assignment prior to the due date for the A4: ANOVA Assignment. We strongly encourage you to review the feedback on your Regression assignment when it becomes available and apply relevant advice to your ANOVA assignment.
Importing Your Dataset
To import your .csv file data into Jamovi, please use the “Special Import” function, this process is outlined in the Introduction to Jamovi Tutorial. Copying and pasting your unique dataset into Jamovi is not advised. Once you have imported your dataset to Jamovi, take a moment to check the Measure types for each variable.
The ‘PETgroups’ and ‘COMPgroups’ variables should have the Measure type set to ‘Nominal’ and Data type set to ‘Text’.
The Measure type for the PuttDiffNew and Competitiveness variables is ‘Continuous’ and Data type set as ‘Decimal’.
And finally, the Measure type for ‘Gender’ must be ‘Ordinal’ and the Data Type will need to be set as ‘Integer’.
NOTE:
No data cleaning is required for the assignments in this subject: you can go ahead and assume that all of the datasets have been pre-cleaned for your convenience.
No transformations are required: if you discover that your unique dataset has non-normality or heterogeneity of variance, please ignore these issues and proceed with your analyses as if the assumptions have been met.
Structuring & Formatting Your Assignment
This assignment should be formatted as a series of short answer questions in a Word document (.doc or .docx). You have some flexibility in how to format your responses to each of the ten assignment questions, so long as your answers are in order and it is clear which answer belongs to each question. You can either copy in the assignment questions in full or just label each question as “Question 1”, “Question 2” (etc.) to structure your responses. The assignment questions/question numbering will not count towards your total word count, nor will tables, figures, or Jamovi output.
You must include any relevant Jamovi output directly below each question. You are not required to format your Jamovi output in any way, unless explicitly asked to do so. Please review the Weekly Tutorial Answers PDFs for examples of how to structure your responses and copy in the associated Jamovi output for each question.
You are only required to format your responses in APA style when the question directs you to do so (e.g. ‘report the results in APA format’, ‘report this scatterplot as a figure in APA format’). Other elements of APA formatting like title pages, page numbers, reference list, etc are not necessary and will not be assessed.
Please see the following links for guidance on how to set up APA formatted tables and figures and for some tips on formatting statistics and numbers.
APA Style Table Setup.
APA Style Figure Setup.
APA Style Numbers and Statistics Guide.
ADD NUMBER OF SOURCES AS REQUIRED
Grading
Each question is worth 1 mark or 10% of your total score on the assignment. The assignment guide includes a breakdown of how the marks are awarded within each question. Many of the marks will be awarded for demonstrating that you can select and run the correct analyses in Jamovi, so please remember to paste in your Jamovi output tables, even if you are not sure how to interpret the results.
You may notice that your assignment returns a much higher similarity score than you might usually expect. Please do not panic about this, we understand that there will be a high degree of overlap among students in how you phrase your responses and therefore may encounter some coincidental overlap with other assignments. -

Title: Examining Personality through the Life of Holden Caulfield in J.D. Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye
You will want to provide a brief
introduction of what the paper will address (a paragraph or two). Afterwards, you will present the biographical
information that is relevant to you character you are evaluating. Even the biographical information needs to be
cited. This will be a springboard of the
5 journal sources that follow. If you would like to use additional sources, you
may. Next you will analyze you character
from one of the eight models of personality.
Please state how the character’s life was influenced by this
perspective. Afterwards, you will
analyze your character from a second model of personality. Additional sources
can be, but are not limited to, the DSM-V, your textbook, etc. The body of the paper should be 3-5 pages
long. Remember to paraphrase and cite
within the text. As noted in class, the
use of direct quotes is less preferable to paraphrasing. Please refer to the checklist for optimal
performance. After you complete this
portion of the paper, start your references on a new page. In total, the full paper should be anywhere
between 5-7 pages (1 title page, 3-5 pages of content, and 1 reference page) -
“Application of Independent Samples T-test in Analyzing the Relationship between Review Sessions and Final Exam Performance”
T-test appliction assignment
-This week’s assignment is on t tests. You will analyze the following variables in the statistical software data set:
Variable Definition
Review Attended review sessions?: 1 = no; 2 = yes
Final Final exam: Number of correct answers-Step 1: Write Section 1 of the DAA: The Data Analysis Plan
Name the variables used in this analysis and whether they are categorical or continuous.
State a research question, null hypothesis, and alternate hypothesis for the independent samples t-test.
-Step 2: Write Section 2 of the DAA: Testing Assumptions
Test for one of the assumptions of t tests – equality (homogeneity) of variances.
-Create statistical output showing the Levene′s Test for Equality Variances.
-Paste the table in the DAA template.
Interpret the Levene′s test.
-Step 3: Write Section 3 of the DAA: Results and Interpretation
If the homogeneity assumption is not violated (Section 2), run the “Student” version of the independent samples t test in the statistical software.
If the homogeneity assumption is violated, run the “Welch” version of the independent samples t-test in the statistical software.
-Also, run the “Desсrіptives” option to obtain the means and standard deviations for each group.
-Paste the statistical software output of the t test into the DAA template. Below the output:
Report the means and standard deviations for each group.
State the results of the t test.
Interpret the statistical results against the null hypothesis and state whether it is rejected or not rejected.
Step 4: Write Section 4 of the DAA: Statistical Conclusions
Provide a brief summary of your analysis and the conclusions drawn about this t test.
Analyze the limitations of the statistical test and/or possible alternative explanations for your results.
-Step 5: Write Section 5 of the DAA: Application
Analyze how you might use the independent samples t test in your field of study.
-Name an independent variable and dependent variable that would work for such an analysis and why studying it may be important to the field or practice.
-Submit your DAA template as an attached Word document in the assignment area.
