Identifying 3 topics in the course that have left an impression, in respect to my career track. Explain. how the topics learned can be applied as you move forward in your career.
– So I am working in behavioral health, as a direct care provider. I will be entering forensic psychology soon after. This class, named “Cognitive and Psychological Aspects of Healthy Aging”, went into depth on 5 topics, but 3 that I find relative to my field are:
1) aging trajectories, risk factors, and multimodal assessments of cognitive function and brain aging
2)structural and functional changes in healthy aging
3) modifiable risk factors
I will insert PDFs/Powerpoints of these 3 topics. Please look through them to identify key terms/subtopics. The teacher usually reads off these powerpoints so it should be fairly clear.

“The Evolution of Attitudes Towards Human Sexuality: An Analysis of Parental, Peer, and Media Influences Over the Past 30 Years”
Purpose
This paper will objectively address how attitudes toward human sexuality have changed over the past 30 years. By completing this paper, you will achieve learning objectives 2-4. & 6-3. Specifically, you will evaluate the role of parents, peers, and the media in human psychosexual development. Parental influences may include religious upbringing, value system, and formal/informal human sexual education, while peers may influence informal/formal sexual education. Often, peers influence media choices, such as movies, music, social networks, dating apps, sexting, etc.
Instructions
You will read two academic articles (Jayne et al., 2021 & Widman et al., 2021) in the Resources section below; the studies refer to the influences parents, religion, peers, and media have on psychosexual development. Please critically evaluate the articles using the skills you practiced in the M05 and M06 research preparation assignments.
In addition, you will search Ivy Tech’s online library for a minimum of one additional, Full Text, Peer-Reviewed article for a relevant study that will help you develop a well-organized, well-written paper. You are also encouraged to use material from previous modules, such as relevant academic articles, TEDx Talks, and the Yarber & Sayad (2022) eText for supportive details. -

The Controversy of Repressed Memories: Examining the Evidence and Alternative Explanations
Are repressed memories real? Explain why you believe that, with empirical evidence from research and other types of evidence (experience and reasoning). If you include experiences, please note that highly emotional or traumatic experiences are neither expected nor suggested. I do suggest that, if you wish to share some of these experiences, you make your descriptions general enough so they are not going to trigger any unnecessary and unwanted anxiety or trauma. I know from previous experience that many students actually want to share this information and they sometimes do so without thinking that they will possibly cause themselves some discomfort by doing so. All students are able to edit their posts, so you can remove anything that you might have had second thoughts about. If you find that you are unable to edit or delete part of your essay, let me know and I will help you with it.
Is there another phenomenon that explains our ability or inability to remember traumatic events? If real, is it an unconscious or conscious process? -
