this is the results FINAL_TEST_RUN (Responses).xlsx ( THIS IS THE ONE I AM LOOKING FOR  THAN NEED TO BE RAN)
    Introduction:
This study aims to explore the differential psychological impacts of social media and navigation apps on narcissistic traits. It specifically examines how these effects vary with individual differences in self-esteem, offering insights into the complex interactions between technology use and personality expression.
    Variables:
    – Dependent Variable (DV):
Narcissistic traits, measured by scores on two versions of the Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI Part 1 and NPI Part 2).
    -Independent Variables (IVs):
    1. Self-esteem (IV1): Two levels – Low vs. High (Between-subjects)
    2. Prime (IV2):  Two types – Scrolling on Instagram vs. Interacting with Google Maps (Within-subjects)
Experimental Design: A mixed factorial design is employed to assess how different primes influence narcissistic traits among individuals with varying levels of self-esteem.
    Procedure:
    1. Prime Manipulation:  Participants are exposed to both Instagram and Google Maps. The sequence of interaction is counterbalanced across participants to mitigate order effects
    2. Immediate NPI Assessment:
Following each 5-minute interaction with a prime, participants complete a part of the Narcissistic Personality Inventory, with the specific version (Part 1 or Part 2) also being counterbalanced.
    Materials:
    – Technology: Participant smartphones, computers for survey administration.
    – Surveys:
    – Self-esteem inventory
    – Demographic questionnaire
    – Two versions of the Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI Part 1 and NPI Part 2) available at  https://psytests.org/darktriad/npi40en.html
    Hypotheses
A significant effect of self esteem is hypothesized. High self esteem will result in a higher NPI score.
A significant effect of the prime is hypothesized. Scrolling on Instagram will result in a higher NPI score.
    Participant Recruitment and Screening:
Participants are recruited through advertisements featuring a QR code that directs them to a screening Google Form. Eligibility is determined based on age and regular use of social media and Google Maps.
    Data Collection:
    – Data is collected using Google Forms for survey responses and random assignment of participants to different experimental conditions.
    – A spreadsheet will be created for data entry and analysis, incorporating response codes and basic data analysis tools.
    Welcome Page:
“Welcome to our research project! Before you begin, please read the following information:

    Pilot Testing:
Both halves of the NPI are pilot tested to ensure their reliability and validity independently.
    Conclusion:
The study seeks to elucidate how different types of digital engagement influence the expression of narcissistic traits, particularly in the context of individual self-esteem variations. The findings are expected to contribute valuable insights into the interactions between technology use and personality development.

  • “Addressing Multicultural Conflicts in Professional Settings: A Simulated Case Study in Psychology” Title: Multicultural Competency in Psychology: A Case Study Analysis

Create a PowerPoint presentation (minimum 6 slides) that analyzes a simulated case study of a multicultural conflict that could potentially occur within your psychology specialization. After analyzing one’s multifaceted cultural identity and biases, the next step toward multicultural competency is to plan how you can use best practices to minimize the negative impact of these factors on professional relationships.
Multicultural competence is essential to be an equitable and effective psychologist; therefore, both working practitioners and learners require professional development in this area. The case study, which is an in-depth report and analysis of events, activities, or processes involving one or more individuals or a situation, is an important tool for training as it allows us to analyze real-life professional concerns without doing harm to the people who service our services.
Working psychologists continue to consult with colleagues on case studies to improve their professional competencies. While actual case studies are based on factual reports, simulated (or fictional) case studies, or vignettes, are often used to illustrate situations that could occur in practice and evaluate potential courses of action. A PowerPoint presentation can be an effective means of sharing case study details and lessons learned in a professional context.
To deepen your understanding, you are encouraged to consider the questions below and discuss them with a fellow learner, a work associate, an interested friend, or a member of your professional community.
What are some common cultural conflicts that occur in the workplace?
How might cultural differences contribute to conflicts?
How might a person’s biases impact cultural conflict and potential solutions?
What are some productive ways that cultural conflicts can be resolved?
    Preparation
Note: The assessments in this course build upon each other, so you are strongly encouraged to complete them in sequence.
Create a simulated (or fictional) case study, concerning a cultural conflict between yourself, working in your area of specialization, and some person or persons, agency/business, or institution. Several points of cultural difference must exist between you and the others involved in this conflict. While the details of your case will be fictional, it must be entirely believable and realistic.
Download and use the Multicultural Case Study Template [PPTX]to complete this assessment. Do not submit a paper for this assessment. Papers will not be graded. You will complete this assessment by replacing all language that is enclosed with brackets […] in the PowerPoint with your own words. For guidance on PowerPoint design, consult the PowerPoint Resources activity in this assessment.

  • “Exploring the Relationship between Personality and Self-Regulation: Insights from the MBTI and Bandura’s Theory” “The Role of INFP Personality Traits and Christian Faith in Self-Regulation”

Can you reply to both of these separate discussion questions. Each response needs to be
    150 words.
    1st reply
Bandura suggests that self-regulation comprises three internal components: self-observation, judging processes, and self-reaction. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator suggests that individuals possess unique personalities and vary in their perceptions and responses to their surroundings. (Feist et al., 2021). The personality test I took during this course revealed that I am an ENTJ. This personality type has a significant impact on my daily interactions and behavior. As an ENTJ, I exhibit extraversion, intuition, thinking, and judging traits that may affect my self-regulation.
Self-regulation begins with observing one’s own performance. Individuals evaluate their conduct by selectively focusing on certain aspects while disregarding others. While taking an exam, one’s primary concern is the accuracy and quality of their work. ENTJs are often described as individuals who possess a strong sense of organization, goal-orientation, and assertiveness (Furnham & Crump, 2005). As an ENTJ, for example, I am more likely to control my actions and bring about the results I wish through the use of logic and strategy.  As an ENTJ this  means that I tend to rely on logical reasoning and strategic planning to regulate your behavior and achieve desired outcomes (Briggs Myers, 1980).These characteristics have the potential to improve self-regulation by helping with long-term goal setting and focus maintenance, leading to effective decision-making. An important part of self-regulation is the judgment process that evaluates behavior in relation to established objectives. This includes individual benchmarks, performance attribution, activity valuation, and referential achievements. The judicial process, which evaluates how well people are doing about their self-defined objectives, is another component of self-regulation. Personal standards, reference performances, activity value, and performance attribution are all examples of what may fall into this category. As an individual with a propensity for judgment, I frequently engage in self-comparisons, both with others and with myself. The incurrence of unwarranted tension and anxiety can at times result from this aspect of my character, which is simultaneously advantageous and detrimental due to my perpetual pursuit of perfection.
    2nd reply
Personality impacts internal factors in self-regulation due to it’s influences on how individuals control their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Personality traits shape individuals’ internal processes of self-regulation by influencing their motivations, emotional reactions, cognitive strategies, and behavioral tendencies. Understanding how personality interacts with self-regulation can provide insights into why people vary in their ability to regulate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors effectively. My MBTI result was INFP, which stands for introversion, intuition, feeling, and perceiving. Introverts tend to direct their energy inward, reflecting on their thoughts, emotions, and values. This internal focus can facilitate self-regulation by promoting self-awareness and introspection, which can allow us to evaluate the value of our actions in against the goals we have set for ourselves ((Feist, Roberts, & Feist, 2021). Intuitive individuals are inclined to focus on future possibilities and patterns rather than concrete details of the present moment. This future-oriented perspective can influence self-regulation by fostering creativity, exploration, and envisioning potential outcomes. Feeling types prioritize personal values, emotions, and empathy when making decisions. This values-driven approach to decision-making can impact self-regulation by guiding behavior in alignment with deeply help beliefs and ethical principles. Perceiving types prefer to keep their options open, remaining flexible and adaptable to new information and experiences. This flexibility can influence self-regulation by allowing for spontaneous adjustments to plans and strategies as needed. By leveraging these internal factors, INFPs can cultivate a strong sense of authenticity, creativity, and personal growth in their self-regulation efforts. The Christian faith can play a significant role in self-regulation by providing individuals with a moral framework, spiritual guidance, and a source of strength and resilience. Christianity emphasizes moral principles such as love, compassion, forgiveness, honesty, integrity, and self-control. These values serve as guiding principles for self-regulation. The Christian faith also places importance on redemption, community, and purpose. These can promote self-forgiveness, accountability, and making positive contributions to society. Galatians 5:22-24 says, “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.” The Holy Spirit produces self-control, similar to the concept of self-regulation, within His people.

For this assignment, conduct a reliability analysis of the internal consistency of items in SPSS (ANALYZE-˃SCALE-˃RELIABILITY ANALYSIS). You can use the default settings of Cronbach′s Alpha. Reliability Analysis
    For this assignment:
    1. Provide an initial Cronbach′s Alpha for the data
    2. Look over the individual items and remove (from the reliability analysis; don′t delete them from the data set) items that don′t have high reliability, rerun the analysis and report your new Cronbach′s alpha. Describe what items you removed and why.
    3. Describe what is happening when you remove items that are not reliable (or internally consistent). Are there any issues with this approach of focusing solely on the internal consistency numbers?
Please attach your output file (.spv file) as well as your Word document with your responses in the assignment dropbox.
