1)Find a website or blog (could be either from a mainstream media channel or a personal page), whose subject matter can be traced back to a historical episode of religious violence (i.e. Crusades, Proselytization of Indigenous Peoples, Slavery, etc.).You will need to analyze in-depth the contents, discussing (a) the nature of the tension, (b) the historical origins of the (controversial?) position maintained by the author of the post or site,(c) the position of the overall dilemma in light of any theory (i.e. Feminism, Critical Theory, Postcolonial Theory, etc.) of one’s choice. The critique is to consist of 3-4 typewritten pages – double spaced, justified, and with 1” margins. 
2) I would like you to speak about Palestine and Israel for this topic, it should be quite easy to find sources. I would like to advise against using chat gpt because it is very easily noticeable. That’s why i have given you a while before the deadline so we can work on this together. Thank you.
3)All writing assignments must conform to standard academic expectations, including the use of: unbiased/gender inclusive language; correct grammar and spelling; and an accepted method of citing sources (Chicago Manual of Style). Please note that the Research Paper will require footnotes. In-source citations are not permitted.

Write four pages (double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman) on which aspects of the class resonated with you and your life. These are closed papers and no one will read them besides me. If you would prefer to write a standard research paper, cite three sources from the class (this can be anything on Moodle, including PowerPoints). If you choose this option, please include a works cited page in MLA, APA, or Chicago format, depending on your preference. You do not need to cite sources if it is a personal reflection. You can put a mix of PowerPoint slide reflection and views on these slides & about discussing  the ethical shortcomings of the Catholic Church in the centuries prior to the Protestant Reformation. In contemporary parlance, the Church’s grift got creative. I’ll also tell the story of Martin Luther: the good and the horrendously bad (the latter of which I would understand if no one ever told you about). Luther was a complicated man, and they psychoanalyzed him to pieces. At any rate, I’d like you give this reading from John Calvin–founder of what we call “Reformationist” Protestantism to-day–for Wednesday. If it’s too much, simply read as much as you can. Be on the lookout for terms like “predestination” (eventually people would refer to it as “double-predestination”) and his views on “grace.” If you belong to a Reformationist congregation, don’t worry about any kind of association with John Calvin. Using the template provided on Blackboard, plan an RE unit from the Sydney Catholic Schools curriculum to

You can do it how you want. Just answer the questions and include some of those issues in the paper. You don’t have to sound crazy smart or none of that try to be as basic as possible. You can add a source or two if you want but it is not required. Do you.
