    Let me give you a little bit about myself. My name is Samantha Youmans I am a 29-year-old female from North Charleston, South Carolina. To describe myself, I would say I am a social butterfly and an introvert at the same time. I feel like my purpose in life is to help others. I was raised around very strong and kind women that would Would put their best effort forward to helping anyone.
    It took me some time in my 20s to fully understand what I would like to do in 2021. I was diagnosed with the Delta variant of Covid and spent some time in the hospital which ultimately led me into being a full-time wheelchair user.  
    I see that my future is very bright. Although there are more obstacles placed in front of me with me being a full-time wheelchair user I know with God anything is possible. In my future, I’m going to be a State certified nail technician. I am going to be a graduate of the prevalent Institute. I see myself using my love and passion of helping others as a doorway to using my Learning experience as a nail technician. I will be able to use what I learned to create a welcoming environment for those that are seeking services for their nails.

We went to the hospital, some of our bones were fractured. We had to go to therapy for 2 months, and to this day, I keep receiving hospital bills to pay.”
