Write a 1,000-word research paper in APA style on a scholarly topic of your choosing. The word count does not include citations.
The paper must use in-text citations and include a reference page with full citations for all of the sources that you include in the paper.
Guidelines:
The paper should be organized logically, based on your thesis statement. You have three relevant items ; write a section on each demonstrating how each supports your idea.
The paper should be a minimum of 1000 words in length. It should not be longer than 1200 words.
Contain at least 4 scholarly sources.
Do not use Wikipedia. If you use Wikipedia as a source, you will lose points on the paper.
Use APA style for the in-text citations and the reference page. Do not include an abstract, but do include an APA cover page.
If you use someone else’s words, ideas, or images, you must either put quotes around them or paraphrase and then provide an in-text citation.

2. in a separate section do an ACE’s evaluation (in John’s report)
– explain what ACE’s is- assume the reader knows nothing about the

would you want to gather from his life, who else might you want to interview(think
mitigation checklist)? What do you do with the other information he disclosed about the
crime he is not charged with- what are your obligations? What are your personal
concerns/feelings about this uncharged crime and how do you address those concerns
(advice: do NOT include it in the report the uncharged crime)?

This is a personal report based on my experience. Below is a screenshot of the assignment instructions. It is a social care based report on two critical incidents that took place on my 13 week placement. I was on placement at a day centre for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The first critical incident you will discuss is as follows. I had planned to go on a day trip to the local college with one of the service users who will remain nameless. He asked me the day before the trip, if when we were at the college I could pay for his lunch in the canteen, and to not tell my practice educator, who oversees the day to day running of the service. This was critical because I would be breaking professional boundaries if i said yes, and did not tell my practice educator about it. Discuss the fact that i had to say no, but that i suggested he could bring a packed lunch with him instead if he didn’t want to spend money. With regards to social care practice literature, maybe discuss the importance of professional boundaries.
The second critical incident occurred on week 3 when my practice educator challenged me to facilitate a meeting with the service users about the upcmoning referendum and using their voices to vote. The meetings are always optional for the service users and since i had only been there a short time, I still felt like a bit of an outsider and hadn’t built any professional relationships yet really. With this, i struggled to grasp their attention and a few service users left, and noone had any questions at the end. I felt as though this was critical because it humbled me and made me realise that people with intellectual disabilities alot of the time will not try to protect your feelings by pretending to be interested and this hit hard for me. It also caused me to try harder to build professional relationships within the service in order to avoid this in future facilitations. 

The technique known as “group termination” is one that may be used to the dissolution of a particular group or category of groups. This procedure can be complicated and challenging to carry out, and the kind of group being terminated can have an effect on how the process is carried out. In this article, one way of terminating a group will be reviewed and illustrated, along with several examples demonstrating how the kind of group might impact the termination process.
