“Exploring Early Christian Perspectives on Jesus: Diversity and Unity in the Roman World”
Your overall instructions for this assignment are in your first module : Primary-Source-Responses.pdf
I would like you to consider the following prompt and questions:
No one has had as much influence in the course of history as Jesus of Nazareth, also known as “Christ” (or Messiah). And yet, even in his own day, there were disputes about who Jesus was, what he was saying, and what he was aiming to accomplish. Well beyond his death and resurrection, the nature, significance, and theology of Jesus the “Christ” continued to be debated. For this response, consider how early Christian writers and communities from the late 1st century to the 4th century CE understood Jesus. The first three sources come from the Gospels that were included in the canonical New Testament. The fourth and fifth sources (the Infancy Gospel and the Gospel of Thomas) represent non-canonical Gospels, i.e., gospels that were not included in the New Testament. The sixth and seventh sources provide commentary on the significance of Jesus from Early Christian writers.
Question(s): What do the following sources indicate about the diversity and unity of belief in the Roman world about the person and significance of Jesus the Christ?

Why do you think the representation of diverse identities in American art is important?
I think diversity and inclusion in art ensure various perspectives experiences and the narratives have’s a voice. When we see ourselves and our stores reflects in our art it validates our existence and foster a sense of belonging. Art engaging with identity has led to greater awareness and major change in the way museums, galleries, and critics treat work by historically marginalized groups. It also represents a new sense of authenticity to art.
What do you think we should teach our future generations about historically marginalized identities when they are not represented in art?
Teaching future generations about historically marginalized identities can help combat stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination. It also can empower individuals to challenge social norms and advocate for equality. As we incorporate diverse perspectives and experience into art education future generations can learn to appreciate the richness and complexity of human identity. This can foster a more inclusive and equitable society where all individuals are valued and celebrated for who they are. Our future generation should be taught about the importance of diversity, inclusion, and representation in order to promote empathy, understanding, and respect for historically marginalized identities that are not represented in art.

Hello Everyone,
I believe that it is important to have diverse identities in American ark because this way we can expand and increased visibility and recognition for underrepresented groups. By showcasing a variety of perspectives, artists can challenge stereotypes and promote understanding and empathy among viewers. Sometimes, people may feel more interested in artwork that was created by an artist that has something in common with them. By example, the reading resources for this week showed how the worst represented group in the US art are women of color. (H. Bishara. 2019). If there is a viewer that feel more identify with art created by women of color as a form of inspiration, this person won’t have the same opportunity to find artists that they feel connected to. Diverse representation in American art can inspire creativity and innovation by exposing viewers to new ideas and perspectives. By embracing diversity in art, we can create a more vibrant and dynamic cultural landscape that reflects the true diversity of a nation.
As we look to educate future generations about these marginalized identities, a good approach could be to incorporate more diverse perspectives into art education curriculum, highlighting artists from underrepresented backgrounds and exploring their unique stories and struggles. By doing so, we can help students develop a more inclusive and empathetic understanding of history, society, and foster critical thinking skills. Based on the video that we watched this week, (How a group of women in this small Alabama town perfected the art of quilting) I believe that it is imperative to share more of this value information with not just students, but in general, because it is important to learn about the journey that some people have to endure to be able to create art. -

A Journey Through Time: A Retrospective Reflection
Rewrite retrospective essay.
Some comments my professor said for this essay:
Paragraphing needs work! Consider where breaks should go to move along time or action within your essay.
More character development (sensory detail) is needed to bring the people in this story to life.
Consider where you can condense material. Weed out excessive wording, unnecessary prepositional phrases.
Citations need fixing.
Works Cited list is not formatted correctly. Please see Hacker for specific instructions relating to the type of source used.
Rewrite, maybe use a different citation example, change point of view, just rewrite it. -
