Vulnerability: (1/2 page) In your own words, how is vulnerability different from weakness for you? If you noticed the urge to resist being vulnerable this week, what got in the way? What physical sensations or thoughts came up for you? When you were vulnerable, how did it change how you felt about the situation? How did you feel before and then how did you feel after? What impact did being vulnerable have on the relationship? How did you practice the mindfulness “how” skill “non-judgmentally” while practicing vulnerability?
Responding to good news shared: (1/2 page) Think of a time this past week when you responded to a larger bid for connection when someone explicitly shared good news. Was your response active or passive? Was your response constructive or destructive? What was the subtext or deeper meaning of your response? Class Activity Reflection: (1 page) Reflect on your group’s discussion of your bids of connection tendencies and practice effectively responding to bids in quiz section this week. Your response for this section should be 1 page double spaced. 
Turning towards emotional bids: (1/2 page)  Were you surprised by your bids for emotion connection tendencies? Why or why not? Following your practice, did your awareness of emotional bids change?
