ASSIGNMENT TIPS:
Identifies/addresses a relevant topic and a thesis that provides direction for the content that is engaging and thought provoking. The thesis clearly and concisely states the position, premise, or hypothesis and is consistently the focal point throughout the presentation. Demonstrates a sophisticated understanding and careful, critical analysis of the research topic and thesis (argument). Compares/contrasts perspectives, considers counter arguments or opposing positions, and draws original and thoughtful conclusions with future implications.
Provides compelling and accurate evidence to support in-depth analysis to the central position beyond the required (2) research sources with at least 1 source from a periodical database. Research sources are highly relevant, accurate, recent (less than 5 years old) and reliable and add to the strength of the content.
Content is effectively organized. Ideas are arranged logically, flows smoothly, with a strong progression of thought from paragraph to paragraph connecting to the central position. Includes all required components (introduction, body, conclusion, citations, references, etc.). 
Content is well written and uses standard English characterized by elements of a strong writing style. Basically, free from grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage, or formatting errors. APA guidelines for formatting are consistently followed. Includes in-text citations and references that are written correctly.

The nursing code of ethics requires that “the nurse owes the same duties to self as to others, including the responsibility to promote health and safety, preserve wholeness of character and integrity, maintain competence, and continue personal and professional growth.” After reviewing Provision 5 of the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, how would you rate the adequacy of your self-care? What do you anticipate will be major sources of stress during your first year as a new graduate nurse? On any given day would you describe yourself as “energized to heal” or “just about making it”? Develop a long-term plan to balance the duty to make clients your primary commitment with the duty to self-care and the management of stress.

In order to evaluate an evidence-based practice project, it is important to be able to determine the effectiveness of your change. Based on faculty feedback from your Topic 5 implementation plan, make updates to your objectives and outcomes. List one objective and its associated outcome. How will you be able to evaluate whether or not this outcome was met? Discuss how using this process of evaluation will allow you to evaluate whether your project made a difference in practice.
